English translation: Ramund would be a better man, if he had better clothes. The queen gave him clothes immediately of tow, bast fiber and leather. "That kind I do not want," said Ramund, "That doesn't make me look good," said Ramund the young. Ramund walked by the salt sea shore, there he saw seven giants stand. »I take Ramund on my smallest hand and throw him far from lands'. "You alone won't do," said Ramund, "All seven of you must come," said Ramund the young. Ramund took to his expensive sword, the one he called Dymlingen1 red. He cut the seven giants in a jiffy, so that the blood ran unto their deaths. "There lie all seven," said Ramund, "I'm still standing here," said Ramund the young. Ramund took to his big knife, the one he called Dymlingen expensive. He parted the emperor by his life, so that the head flew fifteen miles. "I thought it would not bite," said Ramund. "However, the blood is flowing down," said Ramund the young
Beautifull version - your pronounciation is excelent. However, verse 3 line 3 would be more aptly translated as: "He cut the giants, seven with one stroke"
I loved it, and you did a great job with the Danish, really impressive. my English father has lived here for over thirty years and you have less accent than he does.
I'm Danish and was surprised that you also was. Have been following you for a while, and never noticed that. But then I read that you aren't - so I guess that the pronunciation is flawless :D
Dane here! You're doing great. Actually some Danes on the "Viking" folk scene change their accent to sound more Old-norse-like or mystical. Your accent fits right into that Category - Keep it up ;)
My daily Annie ❤ the more i hear and see i am convinced that supporting you is worth every little dime. If you come up with such great videos/songs thats all we can ask for! Thank you Beautiful 🥰
This cover is absolutely stunning beautiful ! Awesome !! Congratulations Annie !!! (it's bringing me inspiration to create my own cover of Ramund in a close future)

Is there any chance you have a instrumental track of that? Because I'm obsessed with the idea of making a vocal cover of this song but since I don't have these wonderful instruments, it's quite hard musically😅
are you swedish or ? i have watched and listened to many of your songs. i really like what you do. but im having difficulties figuring out what nation you are from. i think you did well in Danish ,which is why im thinking you might be swedish?
@@anniehurdygurdy_official i should have finished that question. i truly thought to write are you swedish or german but then i thought perhaps more swedish because you dared trying danish. then i am truly impressed by your danish i must add. you have a little bit of swedish accent but i think that was what made me write swedish and thank you for making this lovely song 🙂 very nice indeed

Väldigt fint hälsningar från sverige
It's lovely to hear Danish pronounced so clearly and yet with an accent.
This is REAL music! Wonderful.....
Du er meget velkommen her.
This is beautiful......I love Nordic folk music.....it's so elemental......

Very beautiful version. And super impressive pronunciation of Danish, almost flawless
Great song, felt like looking back in the past.
Thank you ❤️❤️
Parabéns por cantar na sua língua.
Ninguém aguenta mais inglês.
Wow! I didn't notice that! A violin with Keys. Cool.
Lovely tune, lovely played. Great blend taking advantages of each instrument with the Nyckelharpa/hurdy-gurdy combos.
Thank you sooo much 🥰🙏

How can you speak/sing danish that well? Quite impressive.
Stuggled a bit with Ø in "røde" but otherwise very impressive.
@@RedSntDK To be fair, there's a reason our standard test of Danish is to pronounce "Rødgrød med fløde" :)

your pronounciation for me sounds like the between regular danish, and an accent of it called gotudansk
