Whether you do or you don't, I sincerely thank you for both of the virtual presentations and I can't express how much I loved them.
This song is crushingly beautiful to me. Im a death and black metal head but i love music like this. It does something to my soul. The world would be a better place if more people would listen to it. The purity of can not be understated.

Gotta admit .... when I listen to artists like Wardruna, Heilung, Forndom, Eivør, Skáld etc. my mind doesn't understand a word but my heart and soul 100% do, and I believe that's the sheer power of music. Purchased the Folkesange CD and have to say it has some of the most haunting and beautiful set of songs I've heard in a while. This group is amazing. I think Myrkur is a Siren, her music could lure you to your death; it's that beautiful. Brilliantly crafted music that seems grounded to the elements.

Music is said to be a universal language and this proves that to me. I can only pick out a few words of the lyrics that I know, yet I have listened to this piece at least 50 times and it moves me every time! Between the simple instrumentation, chord structure and the amazing vocals, one does not need to speak the language to understand the music!

While stationed in Germany in 1989, i drove to Denmark, and surprisingly, my last name was as common there as Smith or Jones in the US. So many phone book listings... Then I later found out my father was adopted, so it doesn't matter now. I'm related to inbred Nebraskans Mennonites. But! I'll never forget the week I spent in that beautiful country and the amazing photographs I took of the giant sailboats (right out of the movies), other docked boats, horses on open pastures, stone pathways, hay covered residences, mansions and the people. The entire place was just so photogenic that its easier to describe with the photos I took.
The sound and stereo is crazy good in this, it sounds better than the album version and the album version already sounds amazing. The harmonics here, insane!

I can only pick out a few words of the lyrics that I know, yet I have listened to this piece at least 50 times and it moves me every time! Between the simple instrumentation, chord structure and the amazing vocals, one does not need to speak the language to understand the music!

I'll never forget the week I spent in that beautiful country and the amazing photographs I took of the giant sailboats (right out of the movies), other docked boats, horses on open pastures, stone pathways, hay covered residences, mansions and the people. The entire place was just so photogenic that its easier to describe with the photos I took.
I miss my Danish family and my Danish mother so much. I love all your music but I love the ones you sing in Danish much more ❤🇩🇰🇺🇸
