I started doing the ingame tutorials and got super frustrated. Then I found Joshua Bardwell’s FPV sim tutorial and made insane progress pretty fast. I clocked 10 hours in 3 days. What I found is that you need to practice everyday but as soon as you get frustrated and tired you need to stop and get some rest or sleep on it. Your brain will build those connections and you will notice how you progress.
Awesome progress! I’m at just about 7 hours myself. I wish I recorded my first hour or two. I’m still fairly sloppy but recorded my best run on the first tutorial course if you would like to check it out and give any advice!

Hey thanks for watching! Ummm I was probably around the 100 hours mark at that point. Every time I asked for advice I got the same answer: Keep flying - stick time, stick time, stick time. It's an amazing hobby for watching yourself transform through your flying. You think differently as your mind opens to new things. your skill is so impressive! do you have any tips? im learning FPV acro, im 10 days in with a TBS tango 2 controller and 25 hours in and i still cant even do the "figure 8" tutorial :(, i feel like no matter how many tutorials i do, or free flight i do, im not progressing at all
Hey, thanks mate! Yeah it's toughhhhh. Here's my fool proof method to flying. Stop the tutorials. The drone is too powerful. Go onto "The Pit" and "The Green" and fly the "Gremlin Boar" drone. Now you're flying the weakest drone, on some of the largest maps. Do the track "Flop Shot" on The Green, and "Way Down in the Hole" on the Pit. Do this, and come back here in a week and let me know how things are going. Set a reminder for March 21st/6PM and let me know. Lol good luck!
@@photosbyjames_ with the weak drone, start at 30°, and see how it feels. Just focus on getting through the gates. Don't let yourself struggle for longer than 10 minutes. If you're not having fun, switch it up. Let me know if you want to fly, what's your tag in game?

I officially have 8.1 hours on liftosf, I've been using the gremlin and i definitely love how it flies, i fly it on 20degree view as the standard 10 degrees is far too slow. I started getting into race, just so i can "tick" off every course, but i havent been able to complete 3 laps of anything yet, i can complete 1 or 2 laps but i can't consistently do it. There are times where i miss a checkpoint and i find myself having to fly very far back and need to reenter from a straight line! I'll see if I can record a clip and upload it for progress :)
