I’ve had so many people offer advise and tell me to use coconut oil on my granddaughters type 4 hair and it felt like straw! I watched your videos and applied your techniques with great results. People always want to argue with me but I listen to you because you use science. You make sense. You don’t hop on the fads.

I've been so fed up with all the natural hair, hair products, and influences. I was about to chop all my hair off and start again for the 4th time. Im frustrated cause I know I'm being mislead. I started hearing about Olaplex and seeing the similarities in Cecret and I told myself I need whatever is in these products. Of course the natural hair warriors in my life was angry and telling me “that shit ain't for black people”. All I know is My scalp is crying for help, and my hair can be doing alot better! Finding your channel has confirmed everything I've been feeling and saying! 2024 has been the year of confirmation! Im hopping from video to video lol Thank you!

I was doing some research about sebaceous glands and gurlll I couldn't believe that it was related to pimple, blackheads, acnes due to hormonal imbalance which led to overproduction of sebum. It makes a lot of sense.. We just need to stay hydrated and consume the right amount of food that are rich in Omega 3 which is responsible for skin hydration and I guess it's the same for the scalp... Looks like we don't need oil our scalp at all, maybe just for detangling.

My hair is finally striving and growing back after 3 years of treatments and better care. I also picked up on weight but after I fought back and did several holistic herbal body cleanse that put menopause at attention and in check, menopause is an illusion, we were all lied about that too. I hope your hair journey and health is blessed and striving and healing and blessing to you for many more years.

My hair is definitely thicker and longer, I stopped drinking the clove tea because I have a gut study on Friday but as soon as I come home! Back on it! I cannot wait until next December. Also I was using oils on my hair and it was breaking my face skin out! I stopped using oils on my face and scalp it's been 3 months w/breakouts!

You don’t need serum on the scalp when you have braids. Leave your hair alone, keep your scalp clean and allow the natural serum that comes from your scalp to moisturize your hair. Only use a serum if your trying to treat a scalp infection or disorder.

The comodegenic scale is So confusing. I follow curlychemistry on TH-cam and she said shea butter is high on the scale and good for a sealant along like Vaseline. She also said coconut oil is low on the scale and penetrates the hair shaft.

She doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Coconut oil gets rock hard in the refrigerator. th-cam.com/video/G9XxG5YyuB8/w-d-xo.html
Everyone with a channel doesn’t have facts. Do your own homework. Coconut oil will absorb and block the follicle. She studies chemistry not the human body there is a difference.

@@IamCynDoll ok. Thank you for these videos. So it sounds like just because an oil absorbs quickly doesn’t mean it’s not comedogenic cause that’s what I always thought. That Oils that absorb are non comedogenic and oils that sit on top the skin are comedogenic, but I guess it’s not as simple as that. I did always wonder why coconut oil never worked to hydrate my skin after a shower. Instead It always dried my skin out, yet everyone else always swears by it. SMH.

@@IamCynDoll well I live in Florida, and In this climate coconut oil never hardens. It melts completely. I think coconut oil use should depend on where you live

I still don't quite understand what kind of oil I can use for scalp? I'm afraid of using it I don't want to trigger my seborrheic dermatitis.

You don’t need oil for your scalp. That’s why you have inflammation stop adding oil. Your scalp has sebum.

I have a question: I notice that my psoriasis is at its worse when I straighten my hair (every 3 months). What topical treatments to you recommend that I use on my scalp when I straighten my hair to keep flakes away? (Other than the Kenokoderm shampoo and conditioner) @Iamcyndoll

@@IamCynDoll for scalp care I wash my hair and do aloe Vera treatments weekly and I moisturize my scalp every other day with cold pressed extra virgin olive oil.
For styling, I alternate between protective styles with a bun or ponytail with a weave bundle (my real hair is in a bun underneath)
For products, I use vip luxury greaux formula haircare and kaleidoscope miracle drops formula haircare line as these lines are sulfate and paraben free
