    Interested in the Uplift Active or X-Pole rig? Checkout my other rig review: th-cam.com/video/8C-eJNYNsu0/w-d-xo.html

      Are the X-pole A-frame and Uplift active differents rigs ? They look so similar that I thought they were the same (but like Uplift active was the name for the american market or something like that ?).

      They are different! I think Uplift Active sold a rig that was essentially a replica of the X-Pole rig a few years ago which is where the confusion comes from. They are still very similar, but have different features.

    What's the foot print with a 6 foot header at 7 foot high

    Thank you for creating these rig reviews! Do you know of any other stable rigs around 8ft? I wish I could get the Ludwig but my ceiling is too low.

      Good question! I have the 7ft-11ft Ludwig rig, which can be adjust to 8ft. I’d just put the legs in before flipping it up if you’re working with a low ceiling. Learned that lesson the hard way, lol.
      I know Circus Concepts has a few high MBL aerial rig options for under 8ft, too:

    Would you say this could handle minor dynamic movements like back/front walkovers, low flips, hip keys using silks or hammock? I'm trying to find a good rig for conditioning at home and this seems like the best option stability wise

    • @LyraLauren
      @LyraLauren  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Maheen! The Ludwig rig is designed for dynamic movements, including drops. They go into details on their site if you are worried about anything specific. I believe they have different recommendations for if it’s set up at the highest available option (you can buy more legs than I have).
      I love it for at home conditioning! However, I wouldn’t recommend this rig if you want to set it up and take it down frequently inside. It’s heavy and can easily damage the floor.

    If you were using an aerial silk, would you be able to do drops and spin on this rig?

    • @LyraLauren
      @LyraLauren  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Yes, the rig is rated for drops, but you’d need to have to set higher than I do to do drops on silks.

    Amazing video - liked and subscribed :) If you have time to answer, I'd love to hear whether you think it'd be worth it to use this rig at the 7ft height, or if it'd be too cramped at that point (i'm assuming you used around 9ft since your ceilings are 10ft). Either way, thanks for posting this!

    • @LyraLauren
      @LyraLauren  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you 😊 At 7ft you’d be pretty limited in what you can do, but whether it’s worth it would be up to you! In my other rig video, th-cam.com/video/8C-eJNYNsu0/w-d-xo.html, I show what the limitations are at 8.5ft which might give you a better idea of what it would be like. In the description of that video, there are time stamps for when the rig is low.
      However, the benefit to having the Ludwig with the 6ft header is that you probably wouldn’t be kicking the legs at low heights. Hope that helps!

    do you leave the rig up or do you disassemble and reassemble whenever you plan on using it?

    • @LyraLauren
      @LyraLauren  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I leave it up! It would be difficult to take down and put back up in the space I have.
      Plus my partner hangs Olympic Rings from it when he works out, so at least one of us is using it most days 🙃

    Which material is ur Aerial hoop ? I just bought one it is metal and hurt my hands a lot😬

    • @LyraLauren
      @LyraLauren  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi JDa’ N! I have a hollow steel hoop that’s powder-coated. What about your hoop hurts your hands?

    • @Danielacv88
      @Danielacv88 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LyraLauren it is steel hoop. I bought it because u. Like ur videos and decide to learn. I didn't know i have to use the power coated🤔😊

    • @LyraLauren
      @LyraLauren  ปีที่แล้ว

      You don’t need it to be powder-coated! It just takes awhile to build up calluses on your hands, so it doesn’t irritate the skin. Hope you’re able to work with an instructor near you! Happy you found aerials!

    I emailed customer service and asked what the foot print would be…. They said 9x13ft. They were wrong.

    • @LyraLauren
      @LyraLauren  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oof. You realized the footprint was different after you bought it?

    • @allyb7792
      @allyb7792 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 11ft rig is actually only 9’4” and even at that height it’s 13’8” across. I talked to their customer service rep about it and she said they didn’t know it was that short or that wide. I guess they never measured their product.

    • @LyraLauren
      @LyraLauren  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow, that’s crazy! I _think_ mine goes higher than 9’4”, but I can’t check it since my ceiling is 10ft…
