tbh at first i though you just complied your arrangements of the map themes into one video, was not expecting you to cover the end of Gen 1 medley but i'm so glad you did, i still remember just kinda staring at the screen for a while trying to process what on earth just happened (and i had even been spoiled on it but it was just that powerful of a moment) while this song played. There's something chilling about hearing the very upbeat maps themes take on such a somber tone.
The song also ends on a motif of "The Final Holy War", just to foreshadow that it isn't over, despite the cutscene cutting the song off only halfway through so you'll never hear it.

It's probably two much to ask, but once you finish all the gen 2 map themes I'd love to hear you create a part 2 map medley from scratch since the game doesn't have one.
Even if it doesn't turn out well I'd probably love the heck out of it! The only thing better than Gen 1 map themes is Gen 2 map themes! Chapter 6,8,10, and the Final chapter all have amazing themes.

I mentioned the idea of trying to create a Gen II medley, and since I was bored I made a little proof of concept of what it could sound like. Alright. So... this is honestly very beautiful, and it brought chills down my spine. However, the beginning of the 'Doorway to Destiny' motif lacked the punch from the organ, which I feel really hammers in the tragedy of it all. You've done excellent work, and hearing these is a delight each and every time.
... Update on this comment, I am a buffoon, an idiot, and a dumbass. I was thinking of Euloguous also-amazing orchestral remaster of this same song. Nevermind me, sorry sorry.
Honestly huge part of how gut wrenching the battle of belhalla was this track playing it just added salt in wounds in a way with it reminding you that sigurd hole journey it hardships,losses and even few high notes ended with the death of sigurd and his friends.
You should do something like this for the intro theme and the fe4 fire emblem theme. They were obviously meant to be listened together as one song and having to go to two different vids for each half is kinda awkward.

I can only think of like 3 people, yourself included, who make such good remixes. I'd say four but the last guy's vid is like 11 years old or something so who knows where he is now.

actually only Sigurd, and Claud are the only ones 100% confirmed to have died Edain, Lachesis, Sylvia, Erinys, Brigid, & Tailtiu all survive Lex, Azelle, and Ayra are speculated to have survived and turned into statues by Veld from the statues we see at the end of Thracia chapter 4 Lewyn uhhhhhhh the rest are unknown whether they lived or died
I find it fitting that by the time the music reaches "Doorway to Destiny" Quan is more or less off-screen by that point.
