It is really awesome that you made these themes entirely different than the original version of Nergal's theme! Great work by putting a lot of effort into this theme! I can't get over how fucking astounding the soundtrack to FE3 is. The first songs we hear are all mysterious and full of tense strings, bassy horns and ominous or mystical flutes or choirs. They add to and embellish the legendary feel of the game's setting in a way far beyond perfect or necessary. Tapestry, into Archanean Overture, into this really set the tone for the weight behind and significance of Archanea's history, relevancy to the contemporary crisis, and the shape of things to come for those who must undergo its trials. It punches up the upbeat, high-energy themes that precede it, and do them a favor of maintaining that sense of weight and gravity to the situation unfolding while allowing it to be full of excitement and action. It truly feels like myth giving birth to legend. FE4 would go on to do something similar with its soundtrack, further solidifying why I think Fire Emblem's thematic peak, when it comes to music, anyway, was the SNES/Super Famicom era. *This* is when Fire Emblem was a saga, true to the term. I'm not saying other FEs don't do a good job with their score in their settings, but none of them really reach the levels of peak fantasy and musical storytelling that the SNES/SupFam games do so effortlessly.
