I was about to get out of my car with my dog to go play at the park, but then I got a notification to your new video and so playtime had to wait until after we both saw your video😅
It's true that David Pakman sent me here. So happy I discovered your channel thanks to him. Thai cuisine is in my top FIVE of world wide cuisines. I cook a lot, I love GREEN curry dishes. I have not found a good Thai resto here in the Paris region, in my 14 years of living in France, so when I go to London, I am always spoiled with delicious Thai food... I am happy to cook dishes, so very happy to have found your channel. I love your soothing voice and beautiful visuals.. So glad your channel is growing. You really do a FANTASTIC job with your content and editing. Thanks. Leesa in France
I'm so glad that David put me on to your channel. Thai food is my hands down favorite with Indian coming in at a close second. I'm really picky about my Tom Yum soup, and this recipe looks amazing!!
Oh my gosh! Such care and subtlety with your procedure and delicious ingredients. Wonderful demonstration! I will have to take up the challenge to a) find the ingredients and b) get cooking the soup!
I have been admiring the tools used myself and am curious. I was going to see if there were any product links or recommendations in the channel information section. Just started following @thunthunchannel on IG as well. Hope to see more Moona, photos, she’s very photogenic!
@Matthew @Dranoa Thank you, unfortunately I bought this wok many years ago in a small Chinese grocery store. I haven't seen it since. The wok doesn't have any markings or branding on it unfortunately. When I bought it, I recall that it didn't come in any kind of packaging It just had a price tag on it. If I see this again, I'll be sure to link it. Thanks so much for watching and for all of your support 🙏🏼
I live in hickville and I have never had the pleasure of trying Thai food. I am hoping to very soon because I love to cook and your videos are so vibrant and inspiring 😍😛
Gorgeous! Looks so incredibly delicious! I’m going to have to see if the Thai restaurant I go to serves this, because there’s no way I can make this. Supporting local businesses right? 😅 I’m addicted to your channel, keep it up! 🙏🏼
I'm sorry to hear that! I know a few people who've developed shellfish allergies too. This soup works well with chicken, pork, and fish as a substitute in case you wanted to try
@@ThunThunChannel thank you for the suggestion, will definitely give the chicken a try! I grew up on quite basic American style food, and I’ve been expanding my palette. So happy Pakman lead me here! You are amazing!
I just moved within walking distance of an H- Mart so I can finally start exploring some of these dishes more often. Could you substitute the shrimp with any other protein? Love your videos!
Absolutely, people usually add fish, chicken, or pork. You can even add different seafood meatballs that H-Mart has. I know they carry fish tofu that would be delicious as well. I love H-Mart!
Thank you! Unfortunately I don't know the brand. I bought it in an Asian grocery store that is no longer in business. There was no packaging or branding anywhere on the wok strangely and was sold as is.
This looks so good and very simple to make now if I can find these ingredients here in Southwest Floriduh lol. By the way I love your pans do you have a link of where I can purchase these pans?☮️
Thank you so much for watching! I bought this pan many years ago in a small grocery store that no longer sells it. Unfortunately, there is no branding on it. It didn't come in a package, it just had a price on it. If I see it somewhere again, I'll be sure to link it
@@ThunThunChannel that was a good find! I’m an ex chef of thirty years and I have an obsession with pans I collect them I have about 200 sautée pans of all shape, sizes and different ages. I have a Lodge cast iron pan from the first year they started their company in 1896 and I got to tell you I cook out of that pan more than all the pans together it is definitely my fav!☮️
Wow you've got quite a collection there! I hear you, we all have that one pan that we love to use over and over again. That pan is working over time for sure!
In Thai, Tom means boiling, Yum means a mixture or salad that is usually sour and spicy, and Goong means Shrimp. Be safe everyone!

That's amazing! Moringa is used in southern Thai cooking. Google Thai moringa curry.
