I saw the "to eat in walkies" with the burger and never bat an eye at it. Like, I saw to eat and the space and my brain said "maybe to cheat?" and then I saw the burger and my brain just said "that makes sense" and never questioned it beyond that

Makes sense because it could so easily have been a reference to something you missed in a stream or something. Or a conspiracy to steal your sanity, they're equally likely. It's like how I still don't know why the Subway Koopa video got made, I just accept it's existence and don't think about it anymore. It's something everyone learns to do and live with when they follow this channel.
I can’t stress enough how much I love the situation Vic finds himself in in this video. He already knows it’s too late by the start. It can’t be stopped. There will be burgers, and it will be his legacy, it was his idea after all. But he sticks around. Why? Because he knows even if the train is already in motion, it’s best to stick around and at least be involved and give input while witnessing the funniest, most galaxy brain play ever rather than let Nolan and Simple be left unchecked in their schemes. This is the greatest video ever.

I rewatch Walkies sometimes and noticed the "Most tempted I've ever been to EAT in Walkies" video in my recommendeds and, remembering the original, seriously wondered for a moment if there was some sort of parody thumbnail I had forgotten about on a later episode. Then I went to the playlist and discovered the burg epidemic.

Nolan confronts us with Toad's motion, commanding us to ask "why *is* Toad running from the burger?" Is he not hungry? Is he a vegetarian? Nesamons wants us to suffer for his art, not knowing the answers and fumbling for meaning in a landscape that is inches away from being abstract.
This right here is a prime example of why I consider Simpleflips as unironically one of the funniest content creators on the platform. The sheer commitment to a joke and to gaslighting is INCREDIBLE.

I remember being in the middle of rewatching the series and suddenly burgers began plaguing the thumbnails in front of my very eyes.

My thought process with seeing Toad with the burger was "maybe this is some sort of inside joke with the community so I won't ask and maybe I'll happen on the reason eventually." And I was KIND OF right

Imagine my shock when I paused the video, shut my computer off for the night, came back the next morning, refreshed the page and got burgered. I thought I was having a fucking stroke because that burger was NOT there the previous day.

This is so funny. I've literally recently seen a bunch of walkies thumbnails in my feed, noticed the burgers, but never connected the dots that multiple thumbnails had them or that it was more than just the original thumbnail. Overtime I guess I would have just assumed they always had burgers?

When I saw the thumbnail for the walkies supercut, I just assumed the burger was some random inside joke because I haven't finished watching the walkies series. (ie the gummy worm from network's level), had no idea i was witnessing the greatest conspiracy of all time
Only thing I would've done different is, in the last thumbnail, make every brick in the wall behind Toad a different burger texture.

I noticed the burgers a few days ago and really thought I was going insane. After seeing that other people had posted about them too, I then started going insane with "but why would they do this." I should've known it would be this, just -Simple and Nolan trolling- Vic having a great idea. That's exactly the kind of humor I know and love from this channel.

I saw one with a burger in the thumbnail that I watched a long time ago, thought "Huh, that's weird, I don't remember that", then saw another one and knew immediately what was going on. I've watched enough of the races to know that when it comes to simple "baseball minigame" flips you believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see.
i love how it starts off discreet and quickly devolves into replacing "WALKIES" with "BURGER" in huge text, and many people still didnt fucking notice
