Nice video! A few notes:
Using TMS up is the bind for entering a point track. The system will revert to an area track only if it cannot find a point track. If you want to go directly to an area track, use TMS right.
If you're having trouble getting the TGP onto a small target, it can be useful to go into an area track first. This stabilizes the TGP to ground and makes the slew less sensitive so you can make fine adjustments more easily. This also gets around an issue that can come up when you're trying to point track but pressing TMS up makes the TGP snap away from the target. I typically do something like: Find target area -> TMS right -> area track -> choose specific target -> TMS up -> point track.
For automatic lasing, the -34 manual p.518 recommends a lasing time 12 seconds prior to impact for older Paveway II bombs as excessive guidance commands can result in the bomb falling short. Paveway III have proportional control so lasing for 20+ seconds is fine. I don't think the control inefficiencies of the Paveway II are currently modeled in BMS, but it could be implemented later so not essential but more of a "best practice."
@@spock81 I'm going to pin your comment, this is such an in depth explanation of this aspect of operating the TGP
Great vid. Covers everything and at a speed I can absorb. Thanks. :)
Thank you for watching!
With TMS left double press, you can switch between IR and TV.
I didn't know this but it's great information, pinned!
These are really high quality tutorials! Thanks!
Thank you for the kind words!
Great tutorials. Helped me get on the game!
@@Aequitaserz thank you!
uh, where is dms aft on my stick and is there a possible way to set it to soi on keyborad?
By default on the keyboard the DMS aft (or down) key bind is CTRL+End. You can change this if you wish to another key bind. For the warthog stick, which is the one I have, here's a diagram with the default bindings: www.google.com/search?client=tablet-android-samsung-ss&sca_esv=0a1193d3b9a173ba&sxsrf=ADLYWIJlyXk3zj0iT1gjvyrkdVSccuZOAg:1719183556719&q=falcon+bms+stick&udm=2&fbs=AEQNm0A_ElqRadfJ052eEZYKSIj_p3cVxLVQwM8J8pfDL7Ow4OdL7ZDFTd4vTfxeNatWXHz6xX1nCtF4hGxH6CkSCPyJf6yQcIbt1tI_DkBccZ_DWdmfxcjNr_CRbfEGq-sNc1UA_TSujhCBj6fY6dsOFHQQw1bcJH-AlWQMIBj3UlcuK9euZi1lUZqUkivdkHzragrHgXWt&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj2us7p6fKGAxXzUaQEHYm2BXwQtKgLegQIDxAB&biw=800&bih=1280&dpr=1.5#vhid=STyUr-HW183qiM&vssid=mosaic
My keyboard dosent have end on it is there any other way to access the bind
@@ominousfred CTRL+End is the default key bind but you can map it to another key on the keyboard or on your stick if it's not already mapped on there by default using the keymapping feature of the launcher. @AviationPlus has a great video on the topic, which you can watch here:

I don't think I'm doing anything wrong but when I press TMS up it goes into point track and automatically slews completely off the target?
That's weird. Are you trying to track a moving target or a static one when this happens? Are you too far away from the target?
This can happen sometimes. What you can do to get around it is use TMS right to enter an area track first, then TMS up to go into point track.
@@spock81 this is very good advice!
