    In sports, you should be able to kick them all from a standstill start. Cant wait to get my BYD Seal 3.8 in a few weeks! Fellow QLD here.

    The fact that this 68k (+ drive away) 2 tonne sedan can kind of keep up with all those modified/exotic vehicles is just mind boggling. Really want one!

    If some cars can't get the traction down on standing starts, this rolling racing is good to show their power.

    What's with the exclusivity of it being a "Chinese BYD/EV". The Tesla's here are Chinese too.

      Byd is Chinese owned and made tesla is not Chinese owned..
      Why would tesla keep shipping from America when they can ship directly from china to Australia and New Zealand makes logistical sense for them?

      97% of Tesla parts produced at Tesla's Shanghai factory come from Chinese companies.
      Even for the Berlin factory, 50% of parts must be imported from China.

      @@sheepyracing2774 Are you saying
      Chinese are stupid or what's the point?

    • @marcusgeorge1825

      Everything these days has at least Chinese parts/electronics in them. BMW, Mercedes, etc…

    • @marcusgeorge1825
      @marcusgeorge1825 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sheepyracing2774The reason is not the slightly cheaper freight costs. It comes down to two main reasons. 1, the parts are all Chinese. 2, The labour cost is less than 5% compared to America. Also, having owned a couple of Tesla’s now the build quality out of China is miles ahead of what’s built in America.
