I like the idea of tossing corn/bean bags for a large outside tic-tac-toe game. Very young players could be given smaller bags, or allowed to count a hit that touched the sashing, by way of a handicap when playing with older kids/adults. Thanks for a great idea.
@@candacethompson7235 thank you. When I was a child, my father used to give me a handicap, so I stood a chance of beating him in chess. I would choose which pieces of his I took at the beginning of the game. We had a point system, and as my game improved, I got fewer points worth of pieces to remove from his side. It kept the game interesting for him, and allowed me a chance to win.
Got my first time order a while ago, finally finding time to sew ! Wonderful quality fabric cut properly and fabulous customer service. Thanks for a great experience. Your site gives us so much. thank you Missouri 🌟 Star Quilting Co. 🥰
Love Misti, I'm still cracking up over her just ripping the two 4 patches apart,,,it's like, "Wow, Misti has gone Rogue Moment"...lmbo, , love the ladies of MSQCo...this is now my fav top five moment...lol. love this quilt idea for the grandbabies...thank you Misti, you are awesome...
I love this idea. And it would be great for a children's charity my 3 groups makes quilts for. I've got allot of kids prints that haven't been used but I love that Timeless Treasures print. I could buy 1 and make 3 quilts!
Thank you Misty, I love your projects and have made many of them. This definitely is my next project. Loved your alphabet letters as well and made my grandson a kindergarten keepsake quilt. Thank you a million times.
Thank you Misty for your tutorial, it is a neat idea. I love the shirt you are wearing, it is so cute, cheerful and bright and it makes your cuteness cuter!
Could you all do a sub category of your beginner/quick/easy quilts on your TH-cam site? It would be helpful. It would also be helpful to rate the quilts from easiest to hardest. You have amazing tutorials! Thank you!
So if you didn't want repeating fabric you could use 5 inch squares and get the same results? I am thinking that putting X's and O's onto bean bags or even making pillow type X's and O's, for small children, would be great. Two games in one plus something to snuggle with, what a great idea. This could be a great stash buster of 5 inch squares, or even 2 inch squares just using more. Making this into a quillow to hold the X's and O's to keep everything together would finish it up and have a car pillow as well. Thank you Misty. I love your videos and ideas.
My grandson has Autism and I think he would absolutely Love this quilt! I'm ordering everything for it right now! What batting do you suggest for a picnic quilt? How wide are the sashing and inner border?
This may sound like a dumb question, but how do you play “ I Spy” with a quilt? Someone spies something and someone else has to find the correct quilt square???
@@susanmei9980 You start out saying, "I spy with my little eye, some footballs (or whatever it is)." Then, the other person has to find them. It's a teaching tool for little kids and it makes the time go by if you're bored.
I really enjoy these every Tuesday, Jenny is a hard act to follow, but Misty is a star in her own right.🥰
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this idea Misty!! It's awesome when a quilt can also become the foundation of multiple games! BRILLIANT!
Misty's look when she tore those apart was priceless.... awesome
Lol right? Omg I'm still cracking up...love it
Oh how fun this will be to sew up, Misty! Since I already have that same 10" fabric!! Love all your sewing tips on how to sew more with less time. 😊🙃😉
You are awesome! You know so much, and your demeanor is so gentle. I would choose you as a friend. Thanks for what you do for our quilting world.
Great to see the quick method of joining 4 patches. Pretty quilt.👍🇦🇺

This is great for extra fabrics making but eye appealing due color coordination is important as well.

Yes did enjoyed it - cute & fast & easy thanks
Sweet quilt 💚
This will be great for the boys fabric bundle I just purchased.

Very cool. Thanks.
Wish there were more option for I spy charm pack material. My grandson are older, these would be great.
I had no idea you could tear something apart like that. Now I'm going to try it just because I can't believe it.
I love this quilt and Misty does a great job teaching! Was she a quilter before she married into the Doan sewing royalty?
Hello from Fond du Lac Wisconsin.
Hello misty I am from South Africa
Love it very nice
My grandson has Autism and I think he would absolutely Love this quilt! I'm ordering everything for it right now! What batting do you suggest for a picnic quilt? How wide are the sashing and inner border?
Beautiful Hair))
ok. i like this idea
How old your kids misty? Love to meet them on the show one day!
When you say a 4 inch border do you cut it at 4 1/2 to finish at 4 inch.
When a 4inch border is used, I always cut 4.5 inches because 1/4 inch is lost on all sides when it is sewn into the quilt.
What is overall size approximately of this quilt?
Is there a 2 1/2 inch binding on this quilt?
How about sewing some X's and O's to take with it.
This may sound like a dumb question, but how do you play “ I Spy” with a quilt?
Someone spies something and someone else has to find the correct quilt square???
You got it! A quilt like this would be great entertainment for kids on a long car ride.
Nanna Liz thank you! 😊

RIP IT GIRLFRIEND!!!!!
How much of the backing fabric was used? The "full supply list" doesn't include the sashing and border fabrics.
I’m thinking that I would make some X’s and O’s filled with sand or walnut shells, that we could play with

Hi to do a blanket n bedsheet how many inches tq
❤️❤️❤️
Lol, the jenny move to get the patches the way you want them.
I get a lot of puckering. What am I doing wrong? Diane
Where can I get an iron like yours?
Don’t know if they are still available but they sell them at Missouri star. Go to the website and search
Great video Misty. The off camera voice is very distracting and very much not needed.
I would use it in my car, but would never put it on the ground for a picnic blanket. Would hurt my feelings if something happened to it
Where is jake
