Are you asking because of the age or something else? Many seniors are wealth off and many are on fixed incomes. Is your comment a question or a statement?
@@LiveLifeInMaine i find you videos very informative. we have MAine on our possible retirement list. We are looking to buy outright so no mortgage or rent( yet will obviously have property taxes).. if that is not in the mix, then how does a retired couple fair? I think that in today's economy even with that advantage, I will still have to work part time well into my senior years
Depends where you are looking. I sold a nice home, radiant heat, 2 bay garage, in a 55 and over community for 408k. Not sure if you consider that very expensive
Excellent video. I liked that little tidbit about starling at the back in. Thanks as always.
Appreciate this honest breakdown to set some expectations for Maine!
What about senior citizens

Housing for seniors on fixed income. I’m finding over 55 communities are very expensive in Maine.

Without a mortgage, you can live in parts of Maine for 2000 a month or less depending where you live. 3500 or less just about anywhere.
