Finally got the chance to watch the video been a hectic couple days doing my first run to Melbourne wow what an experience specially if your going to SE suburbs as you have to drive so close to the city one rong turn your hucked lol.

I live in Nambucca too, I did my trade at tafe with one of their mechanics and got two blokes at my current job in Coffs that worked for them a few years ago. How do they pay doing those 3 shifts? seems like a fkin cruisey gig.

its funny you say this, i am a linehaul driver (lucky to be home every night ) and the first run i did, the boss was with me,we got back to the yard and i asked "are you in the hot seat tomorrow or am i?"
his repsonse (was hilarious i think)" theres no point getting a dog and barking yourself, you have my number if you get lost".... been there 8 years doing the same runs and havent called him yet to say im lost hahaha

I grew up in Dorrigo and knew that mountain well. Done 100s of runs on it with my father in a 7 ton body truck. TK Bedford

Great interview bro! I just got back from ebor up the dorrigo mountains and what an experience that was.
I grew up in Dorrigo and went up and down the mountain 100s of times with my farther in a 7 ton body truck. He often done 3 runs in a day, and in the last years twice a day. That was 1959 to 69 he was truck driving.
Sound like I’m gonna have to check the place out!
Not rong she is wild coming down with 32 tonne and not knowing the road thats for sure haha.
