Laser alignments with thatVilterguy

As part of your annual service, you should check your compressor's alignment. For years I have been using laser tool to do this task and they keep improving and making it easier and faster for technicians. There's nothing wrong with dials but, for me, they just can't deliver the same value.
This is not a partnership ad. For my own regular work I use the Pruftechnik SHAFTALIGN Touch because that just happens to be what I have. I have also used products from Easy-Laser in the past with comparable ease and success as well and would recommend them as well.
Remember to always lock-out/tag-out your rotating equipment and check to confirm electrical isolation! Never assume that the power is off and that no one else would turn it back on.
