I have been eyeing some online auctions for a while, but I knew that I could not bring in these items without having somewhere for them to go! All of these Dresses will either be donated to Giving Gown or Northwest Assisted Ministries. These dresses came to less than $26 per dress. The 1st dress I think there are going to be several young ladies with tears in their eyes , just amazed how great they look , how thankful they are, off to prom or another formal sch9l dance in a beautiful , trendy dress to call their own !! Thank You for thinking of others.

This was a win win video…you got to try on a bunch of gowns and a bunch of young ladies will be thrilled to wear these gowns. I thrift any and all clothing we don’t wear anymore or that I buy and never wore. I hate throwing clothes away because so many people need them. ❤

The first couple of A-line dresses looked great on you! I would go ahead and include the red dress, because there might be a girl who has the shape to look fabulous in it and can fix the hem.

My High School prom was a mess. My parents hosted a cocktail party before the prom mistake #1. I went to the prom with a hot guy with a hot car that I met a month prior to prom. He came to the cocktail party drunk so that was a hell no you are not driving me 😂. He still showed up to the prom and we didn’t hang around together and went our separate ways 🎉

Alford Angelo was the company that made my dress for the Oct 17, 1987 wedding we had !! Had to me , the most beautiful Shorter Cathedral look train, long sleeves, cut so low when it came, tried it on, Burst into tears, saying it was cut too low to wear in a church, oh and look today with strapless, etc !! All the lace & beads. Today's Brides wear such simple, beautiful, smooth satin , fitting as if totally custom made !! They have so much more freedom in dressing, & after for their receptions ! Took all my girlfriends to button me into the dress then hook the bustle thing up so I could function ¡ !! Here's to all the young ladies who will receive these gowns having a fun night & beautiful life ahead !
The red strapless with the white sash would be super cute with a dark green velvet Bolero jacket for a formal Christmas/holiday party. That's really cool to donate the dresses and volunteer!

I liked some of the dresses but I think the idea of giving them to a non-profit is really wonderful. This was fun. I'd like to see some auction dresses again. These were definately better quality than the ones in your temu video.

What an awesome thing for you to do! The school I used to teach at does something similar. The first dress was just beautiful, and looked very good on you. It gave you a waist and flared A line at the right spot for you. Don't discount that blue, either. It looks nice on you. The one "catfish purple"--as I call it dress with broken halter, that neckline was very nice. Not a fan of that color, though, for anyone unless they have white/silver hair. The teal color was simple and beautiful. Great color for you. Not a fan of the other dresses for you, per say, except the colors, but you didn't get them for you---They will go to a great cause! What a GREAT thing to do! Maybe some hair dressers and such in your area will follow your lead and offer their services, too. Have a blessed day.

The material that used both sides reminded me of chantung silk. It is just like that. I had a dress made out of it for a Christmas party once. Beautiful fabric.

I love this idea! We have a charity here in Minneapolis/St. Paul that does the same thing, outfitting young ladies with dresses, shoes and accessories to set them for their school formals. I don’t remember the name they go by, but I love the mission.
Perhaps you’ll inspire others to do the same in their communities.

You look awesome in blue! Red is also my color I have dark hair and eyes and my aunt has bought me red dresses for every gift occasion so there was no doubt as to what color looked good on me. But I think you should add that color blue to your wardrobe it is very pretty on you. The halter pink was too close to your skin color and the maroons are good colors for you so is the peacock blue. Jewel tones look good. This was fun I’d keep the first one.
I think you should keep several of these, but I like your ❤ sharing w/the less fortunate. Almsgiving as we start lent... beautiful. God bless.
I have thought a lot today about giving things that are both meaningful and sacrificial. I had never imagined this TH-cam journey turning out quite like it has. It has allowed me to do fun videos like this, but I want to be intentional about keeping what I need (or really want!) and sharing the rest. I really appreciate you watching, and your kindness!

The odd ball, that had no tags and had been heavily altered, was my favorite! I think because I sew and I would have fun messing with it. The first blue one was pretty but I liked the purple one with straps better and then the grey one, I could see it paired with sparkly black accessories.

I have a wedding gown video that I’m filming on the 24th (it will take some time to edit, so out early March) it is not an auction box, but I have found a wedding dress philanthropy that does a very similar thing to Giving gown.
I was bummed about the brown, too- I debated ripping out the altered stitches, but was worried about hurting the dress!
The sapphire blue looks like it feels amazing.

With the superfluous bit on the peacock dress I'd add the bling there. Either a single cluster at the waist or maybe a couple of strands flowing down the dress, then it becomes 'a thing'. Most bridesmaids type dresses are going to be blingless, so adding some kind of helps it shift genre. ..... even though I don't really do bling 😁 It's also sometimes worth changing up the corset laces for something else, a wider satin ribbon can be nice or just a different colour - metallics are good, again for the bling.
