Thanks! eq was pretty much straight up. Mids bumped a bit . Cab were Greenbacks. Since then i have dialed my crunch ch to be the main tone and actually will use it for my solo tones with a stacked TS with bumped gain for the rock star moments!
Hey Don, I forget....did you say you're using the Tumnus, or the SD-1 for this tone? This is just majestic. It never get's old. I just got my SLO 30, and I'm trying to get this kind of a tone dialed in.
SD1 👌. On the crunch ch I add a Klondike clone to the level boost on the SD 1. Then when switch to the overdrive channel that pedal is taken out because there’s plenty of gain there. Explain it all in one of my other videos titled rig rundown I believe
Wow! After the other “Plexi” style amps/channels that you’ve been going through in the last few videos, going back to the SLO...the SLO is very unique and extremely convincing as a Plexi. Very impressive. Are you using your Friedman cab with the GBacks?!
Thanks! This was with the EVH cab and it's G backs. Yeah in the room the tendency is to add a little more gain than is needed for what my ears are hearing in this vid. However, the volume knob is very useful to get a variety of gain levels. The Ac Dc tone does not have any real 'hair' on top. It is a percussive massive volume driven tone as you likely know!
@@cragginshred Very nice! EVH cabs are really good. They don’t get enough love. Very true. That percussive volume is key. I find most of my favorite tones are volume driven...although you pay for that volume Lol I feel like this amount of gain is great, especially for a pedal platform though too. 800 levels of gain with an overdrive is glorious. AC/DC guitar tone is SOOO loud!! Most people don’t realize how sickeningly loud it truly is...but it’s so glorious!!
Great sound!!!
What is the eq on the amp? What about the cabinet???
Thanks a lot

@@cragginshred the Crunch channel is my favorite circuit. Much prefer it with a SD1 in front than the lead channel.
Sounds really good bro ..
Nice playing with this demo 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks dude, just noodling trying to capture some cool tones. My ears are still ringing from last Sat pm's gig .....(:

The plexi made him a worse player which is why I prefer the plexi.
