    thanks! Question - for the second clip are you thinking about descending structures, if so could you outline them?

    • @willburdett
      @willburdett  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great question! I didn't really think about it in descending structures, more just focused on maintaining the descending chromatic line on top.
      However, from that descending chromatic bit (starting on the note D) I see the arpeggio outlines like this - Bb6, A6, Dm7, E#5add9, E7add9, Bbadd4.
      Hope that helps! :)

    You know that Spain solo isn’t his ? It’s from Al Jarreau’s version of Spain by Larry Williams of synth , good analysis though thanks

    Which app you recommend for midi Learning , I'm on a 61key Non Weighted for Now until I have the SL88 !!!! Great Video & Much Respect for sharing your knowledge .

      Thanks for the kind words!
      In terms of MIDI I almost exclusively use logic now with Keyscape plugins for performance and Musescore for notation.
      The keyboard app I use to display everything is called the "Chordie App" (not free unfortunately 😅).
      And then to transcribe stuff I use an app called "Transcribe" (has a free trial) . This only stops/starts/allows you to loop audio, but helps massively with playing as fast as this!
      I hope that helps answer your question 😊

      Thanks man! I'll be back to making videos again soon and will definitely look at some Molina.
      I have one video on him already on my channel if you're interested.
      Is there any playing/pieces of his in particular you like?

    • @zzush
      @zzush 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@willburdett Thanks for the reply, I've noticed that Jesus uses a lot of block chords and different voicings to harmonize a note also different patterns and structure to solo especially in the two videos with Justin and Cory Henry.
      Could u make something from those videos.

    Вундеркин....будет всю жизнь доказывать ,что умеет играть,а главное то это сочинять музыку, звукоизвлечение,темп....он интересен пока ребёнок.....Иисус Молина тоже был вундеркином,теперь просто музыкант....и стал как все.
