ever since they updated the game my mods cant install and when I delete some files that I think are restricting the mods then the game doesn't open. Can you help out or make a tutorial on what I have to do

why does your version have the suit adding tool, but mine does not? Is it safe to drag and drop the suit tool into the same folder since i see its also on nexus?

iv converted the mod file to a smpcmod file but it says unhandled exception then i press continue then nothing happens what should i do

for me i dont have the smpc exe file just a file called smpctool and whne i open it says select asset archive folder

this is why you should almost never buy on anything but steam if you wanna use mods, it's simply the most widely supported version for modding, and technical support.
You can it’s just a bit different to access some folders pretty self explanatory though if you are techy

Tool is already running when i open the smpctool.exe like where is it running? im either just stupid or theres an issue
there's an issue, cause it's happening to me too. nobody is saying anything, but I think there's a discord or something.
I have questions how i un-installed the mod you know removed it and back to original one

when i open that mod manager it cant find my mod file. like the mod file is in my folder but when i open that folder with modding tool that folder is just empty

@@Aiden_crisp yeah it only works for mod files(SMPCMOD file) You can't use it to add suits which is what I was doing

Hi, when i install a mod it says successful but when i open the game its just a blackscreen, even the launcher text changes to LAUNCHER_PLAY, same with settings and exit. Any idea?

It says that mod is succesfully installed, but in the game, the mods dont show, and i did everything right.
yeah so once it comes up with that notification, press install mods once again and it will work

Why do I get a error code when installing the mod ?
Doesn’t mean anything. As long as another code comes up saying mod successfully installed then you should be good

when im in the tool and going to add a mod the file appears blank like its the wrong file type whats the issue here?

@@Michal_glus i found out the issue if youre adding suit mods you need to have the suit adding tool in the directory of the spiderman folder. when you have that in your directory all you need to do is drag and drop the suit file onto the suit adding application. let me know if this helps

Hmmm strange this has never happened to me. Try putting them in a different folder
@@laffin4033 i have ive put them in every other folder but the mods just dont show up i feel like i was robbed out of a game because i only got it for mods
For me its the same al my folders are empty
no mods in my folder when i search for the file within the mod tool. Everything is missing besides the folders. Outside the mod tool the mods are IN the folder and i 100% downloaded it. SO CONFUSED! man just wants to swing around in dope skins!
do you have a zip file compressor installed? you have to compress the mod files into smpcmod files. if you can install express zip file compressor. put the file into there and extract it. and then try to add it to the mod manager. and then install into game.
@@majorshogun ill try it out, i usually use winrar to extract the mods into a mod folder. I started realizing after messing around like 20 thousands times with it that it needed to be specifically a SPMCMOD file. So ill download what you mentioned to try it out, hopefully that actually helps.
@@majorshogun how do you compress a file into a smpcmod file cus i can make it a .zip or .7z but no smpcmod
@@Vex14242 try what the other person tried. download express zip file compressor then copy and paste the file into the file compressor and then hit extract. that should compress the file into a spmcmod file. sorry for the late response as well tho.
