Whenever I try to open the Suit Adding Tool, it says "Unhandled Exception: What Part of Drag and Dropping suits to you not understand?"
You have to hold the SUIT file(s) and drag it/them onto the tool.
I had this problem at first, but your meant to drag and drops your suit into the tool and it opens up. Also make sure you have them in the correct folder.
@@Mysxtical That didn't work for me. It just deleted it and i had to download the suit 22 times. never did get it to work

yea this was happening to me. I fixed it by going into where my disk on the left side of the screen and navigating to the asset archive folder.
Hey so I downloaded all of the things you told me to before downloading the suit adding tool and it is still not working at it says “Make sure you trust suit adding tool” pls help😊
interesting. have you tried dragging a ".suit? file on top of the suit adding tool?

Whenever I add the suit mod onto the suit adding tool it makes me choose a file and says select the asset_archive folder in game files
Try clicking on the asset archive folder… if it doesn’t work let me know

this isnt working for me, I have downloaded both of what you needed for the requirements but when i drag it to suit adder it just doesnt work, im opening it with winRAR but its just getting so frustrating as i cant work it out

If the adder does not open you need to click on both the VC redist and windows desktop runtime that you installed and install them again inside the folder I had the same issue

I downloaded both requirements and when ever I drag a suit to the suit tool it opens my files and tells me to select a folder.

Select your games folder and then select the folder called asset_archive
I can only add one suit to the game at a time, it only shows one of the suits i imported

Mine won’t launch every time i do all the steps and then I launch the game it’s starts to launch then stops and it says error occurred and a PlayStation logo says accept and report or don’t report
im playing the miles morales one still not working after when i downloaded the two files

every time i mod a suit in to a game some of the characters voicelines dont work most of its is yuri and other sidecharacters and if i have subtitles on it says this"name subtitle invalid" i have no idea how to fix it.
if add one suit it doesnt happened but if its more then one then the problem starts

Edit: I figured it out. I had installed the .Net thing incorrectly, thanks to confusing site UI. You need to click "click here to download manually" not "direct link." Apparently those are different things.

did you install those 2 folders from the beginning? if not you need to install them both for that screen to pop up
yes, I installed them but it still doesn't work, I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling them but that's not the problem. Maybe it has compatibility issues with windows 11
@@luca98680 hmmm that’s weird, I’m on windows 11 and it worked for me this morning. Maybe try uninstalling and the re installing the 2 downloads again?

@@makoda1596 hmm that’s weird, I don’t know what I did to make it work. You’ve got to insert the suit adding tool somewhere within the Spider-Man’s game files. That’s what I did anyway but no clue where I just hoped for the best and it worked ahah

For me only 3 suits shows up but in Photomode it is visible
go to the bottom of the suit roster and press the S key until it drops

when i put the suit in the suit adder tool it brings up the black screen but then makes me select the archive-asset folder and so i copy the address to the archive_asset folder and then click select folder it just keeps popping up to select the archive_asset folder again and again pls help
(edit: it i clicked the asset folder then it asked me what language my game was on so i said english and then it gave me an error and now when i try to put the suit in the suit adder tool it just gives me error again pls help, might refund the game tho bc no point in playing it on pc if the mods are too difficult to use)

Update: I already fixed it i deleted some mods and it worked.

You might have a mod on that isn’t compatible with the suit file. So try and delete mods and see which one isn’t letting you download the suit into the game

when i put my suit into the tool it says theres an error
I'm getting this error as well. I'm pretty sure I messed something up when I tried installing it before watching the video. I drag the adder tool into the game's installation file. I drag the mod suit files into the adder tool exe and I get this message,
"There was an error
System.Exception: The asset_archive folder is not valid or does not belong to Spider-Man Remastered at Suit_Adder.Main(String[] args)"
I remember starting up the exe and it gave me the option to choose a language as well as the folder for the game's asset archive. But now if I double click the exe, it just tells me, "Unhandled exception" and tells me to drag and drop the suits into the exe file :/

Mmm.. i think i had the same problem but you may have to keep adding the suits over & over. Some suits might stay.

Your best bet is to find someone who can help you in the discord.. i myself have uninstalled the game cause i no longer play it & im getting tired of having to explain to people what to do with their mods. Theres answers out there, just gotta be willing to find them. Good luck to you.
