I was primary care giver for my mother for the last few years of her life. She was Diabetic and a partial amputee. I know what it's like to be bone weary and tired. I loved her, but it really can be draining on us. Always remember to take care of yourself! God bless you Ryan.
@@Gorilla-Life If someone doesn't want to get help for their drinking problem, there isn't a lot we can do. But you are a very good son and are treating both your parents with honor and respect. Just be sure to take care of yourself. Stay strong!
Um it’s hard to say “ Yes”. He continues to do it again and again because of the alcoholic problem. I am more concerned about my mother, who has dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
Do you have any siblings who could help ease your burden of caring for your dad, or a significant other to share your life with? I wish you much success and happiness in the coming new year
@@SharronNetherly Yes I have a brother and sister. Intentionally I don't make them get involved with the caring for our father since they have trauma caused by him.

Ryan, you need to be healthy so you can take care of your dad. I cared for both of my parents until they passed. It's difficult to be a caregiver. I know you you have to take care of yourself so you can help others. I hope your dad is ok. Try and get some rest. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It's helpful to talk to others.
Life is immensely hard on occasions. In some cases, I can’t even ignore or avert it because it’s a family affair. I don’t want to have regrets either way towards my parents.
I have been disabled since I was 24 as my pelvis was pulled apart when I gave birth, which crippled me. I have also suffered from my lungs since I was a month old. My son has always helped me. Even when he was working, he would come and stay when I was poorly. My sister, Denise, used to help me. She passed away from cancer in 2013. I've also had to have carers and cleaners. I suffer from depression and anxiety as well. Your Momotaro videos have really helped my depression.
Im so sorry, GL. I have a mom with dementia. She is very strong 💪 in a home. My health has been poor all year. Your videos of MOMOTARO troop helped me in hospital 🏥 so much. I hardly share this information. Im so sorry 😞 and praying for you and your family. Blessings 🙌 V
How do you interact with your mother ? Any advice to me As for myself, I behave as usual. For now she is relatively calm in spite of the level of the dementia.
Yes I have a sister and a brother but they don’t get along with the problem father. They have strong trauma against him. I am more concerned about my mother.
Unfortunately the government doesn’t consider enough subsidies for support. We Japanese are getting to become poor year by year. My country is not an advanced nation any more. It’s hopeless.
Hit the like button please ! This time I was talking about my personal story.
Ryan, please take care of yourself!!!!! We enjoy your videos!!! You are such an asset to the world. Thank you so much!
You are a good son. Hopefully, your father comes to his senses before is to late.
