Loved the comedy you guys brought to the video, as well as the education -- I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would have a panic attack if my Rope Runner Pro disappeared some day!
I’m brand new to climbing, and your demonstrations have taken a lot of mystery out of the equipment! Absolutely hilarious dude! Keep up the great work! Thank you
The Allen key design isn’t a down side it’s a guarantee. Just imagine an adjustment accidentally ?? Ps: still the No1 instructor on TH-cam. 30 years as a climber/instructor can’t be far wrong dude.
Thank you for aaaall your good vids! You are really one of the very most sympathetic climb educators for me!!! I really honor your humor and absolut to-the-point, but also detailed style of lesson! Y que tambien lo están grabando en castellano! :) Gracias!!
4:45 This hazard also comes to play when using a cric for temporary-triple-roping. Happens to me high up when I first tried it, on the RR of a college and wasn't expecting it at all. I don't know if it would catch a fall or not, I just notice, that I couldn't adjust me position anymore because it just didn't grab from itself anymore. kinda scary. But if I were ever to single one I know i would need my triplerope to come back 8n from these limbs. I am a gear enthusiast as well and like technical solutions that makes everything smoother on the body.
LMAO 🤣😂 Cody saying "Let's Thrust togather ! " has very weird deep meanings & that Cody's lame ASF weak thrusting in this video made me laugh as hell ... And wtf is that flash of little white rabbit 🐰??? 🤣 LMAO 🤣 Great work ! Great acting ! Great costume choices ! This channel has gotten to totally different levels !! 😉👍✊👏👏👏👏 Awesome video 👍
Soo I believe it’s important to know knots. Not hating on this device as it’s a good device but there are many hazards with it. Any thoughts on having a captive eye bar in the carabiner so it doesn’t rotate? Or also side loading device and slick pins in a fall? You recommended keeping small accessory carabiner for ascent tending on the chest ascender but those can also grab the bird at the top and collapse the device.
@Johnny Reengo I'm 6' 2" and 245 and it slips on me boss. I bought one earlier this summer and I have not at all been impressed. By the time I get it adjusted to where it holds me it's really hard to break the bird and is hard on my hands. Iv had it on tango ivy for a second and figured the rope was the problem, so I got some xstatic and still have the same problem.. I'm selling mine to a buddy to recoup my $
@@groundpounder24365 Same here. I weigh 230 lb with gear, the RRP does not work for me. Tried it on 11mm and 11.7mm, but no luck. It's terrible in pitchy trees. I have had the bird fully depressed and just hung there. Spooky! I love my RW with Cooper hitch.
Save your money bro. I saved my money not eating at any restaurants or stores. Cooking all my food bought everything from local supermarkets .,etc. Now I have Rope Runner Pro 😅👍

Always good to bring up the worst case scenarios and what to watch out for, like with the mini ascender carabiner. The RR Pro looks really cool!

That is awesome to hear! After all, that's why we do these videos; to spread knowledge.
Thanks for watching and dropping a comment!

No idea how I got here. But that was pretty cool.
The dream sequence was hella funny!

My shoulders have trouble in the pushing direction. Not sure this device would work for me
Best freaking video of the day!!
Being 6'4" 250 i'm a little hesitant switching to mechanical bc of that low WLL. I assume the slightest bounce would make it slip.
Buy Rope Runner Original instead, You will appreciate it, trust me. 192cm, 100kg..

Rockin' vid bro!
Will there possibly be a sale on these in the near future? 🙃
@@BartlettArboristSupply I'll keep my eyes peeled. Looking forward to making another trip to your store 😀
To descend, do you put light pressure on the top?
However the friction setting is set too, will dictate how much pressure is needed to collapse the bird for descent.
Where can I get one customized to my own way
Any idea
Custom Rope Runner Pro? I am not 100% sure that Notch does custom color upon order.
Difference between this n zigzag
Same outcome but the Roperunner is mid-line attachable

Rope runner is way to expensive like other ascenders.
If you think about it, most mechanical ascenders are in the very high $300 to $400 range.
