I had a terrible screeching noise in my Farmall Cub -- engine would bog down and die. Just removed my valve cover. All the valves show approximately the same gap -- except one (farthest one to the right). The others touch/nearly touch top to bottom; that one has a 1/4" gap or more. Is it seized?
Man this is a big help. Same year doing the same things right now. Thank you🙏
Thats awesome, Im happy ot helps brother! Ill be popping up more videos very soon with the progress on the old cub!
I used a 1/4 drive with a wobble extension for those back pan bolts. Those are definitely intended to be done with tractor split.
Yeah its definitely easier with a wobble!
Looking good. Enjoyed it thanks
Thanks brother
1/4"drive socket or a nut driver may work to get the rear oil pan bolts installed .
I agree super a carbs don't work at all, but cubs run fine straight out of the box, been running one 3 years another1.
Absolutely!

Sounds like a valve guide wore and seized.
