Many comments here got me scratching my head: Isn’t it good that our country is constantly taking steps to promote relationship with other countries? Even if it’s South Korea, this meeting is mostly about strengthening our economic cooperation and has less to do with global disputes.
What other countries are doing, Cn and you chinese people have no rights to interfere. Why do you side with Russia even though it has taken your chinese land?? Tell me why you can be so crazy??
Hahaha, you didn't check your own backyard?? Eyes on others but fail to see the failure in your own country?? So, when are you going to ask for your land back from Russia??

It feels like the US empire is orchestring Singapore's upgrading to "strategic level" partnerships with empire vassals. Singapore has been trading with Asian countries for centuries without the need to use the suspicious word "strategic". This word is closely associated with geopolitics and war. Singapore is slowly being drawn into the empire war structure. Kissinger's words are so true: it is fatal to be a friend of the US.
Note that this "strategic level" partnership includes defence, and involvement in "world order" geopolitics. I think the Singapore government is not in touch with the worry on the ground in this area, believing that when it cones to geopolitics Singaporeans will just leave it to the government. Well, to put it in simple terms, don't think Singaporeans are not concerned about getting involved in other people's wars.

Slowly, step by step, upgrading to strategic Asian NATO? Singapore had better be careful.

If it's just kimchi, it's OK, but you don't need a strategic partnership for kimchi.
