🎤Lyrics:
Lord Almighty
Feel my temperature rising
Higher, higher
It's burning through to my soul
Girl, girl, girl, girl
You gonna set me on fire
My brain is flaming
I don't know which way to go
Your kisses lift me higher
Like the sweet song of a choir
You light my morning sky
With burning love
I feel my temperature rising
Help me, I'm flaming
I must be a hundred and nine
Burning, burning, burning
And nothing can cool me
I just might turn into smoke
But I feel fine
'Cause your kisses lift me higher
Like a sweet song of a choir
And you light my morning sky
With burning love
It's coming closer
The flames are now licking my body
Won't you help me
Feel like I'm slipping away
It's hard to breath
And my chest is a-heaving
Lord, have mercy
Burning the hole where I lay
Your kisses lift me higher
Like the sweet song of a choir
You light my morning sky
With burning love
With burning love
I'm just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love

Just finished watching “Zombieland Doubletap”, and here I am!
Elvis is everywhere man ❤
I read "man" in his voice lol
👍
Fantastic thank you 👍
Great tutorial man,
I'm learning it today on what would've been the King's 88th Birthday.
Thanks for a great lesson!
Totally awesome thanks!
awesome tutorial, simple yet very effective. You made it look nice and easy. Subscribed. Peace, man!
Great tutorial, well done
Amazing! From Brazil!
Ace man, got to learn this one..
Very nice video. Thanks
Good one John! Thank you 👌
You’re welcome! Happy to help!
Great tune thanks for the lesson
You’re welcome! Rock on 🤘!
Thhis is where that yucky old theory will help folks. As long as you know the key. Your circle of fifths will show what chord is next. Its a song writers best friend.
Great tune - thanks (even if all those cowboy chords get like a sobriety test!).
Btw, why do you go for the partial fingering on the G? Ie A muted rather than sounding the B? Is that just a matter of speed?
I actually find I can hit the G with the B fretted faster through habit ..?
Just wondering!
There ya go! Either one will work fine.
@@jonmaclennan Oops sorry -- my bad -- you carefully show that at 4.25 ish.
Its a root note + twang on the G anyway so no one cares about the A (string), which should be a B in the scale, which is a duplication of the B found on the open second string anyway.
Sort of thing.
@@SlowPersuit Yeah there are a lot of ways to play G. I like the one omitting the 5th string. I use this one a lot and it sounds great in rock songs, while the other one with the open B string as well sounds great in more folk styles. I made a video about this and sent it out to only my email list the email was called: "#1 tip to sound like a rock guitar pro" if you are on my email list search for that email and I check out the video I have about these adjustments I make. Again any G will work but these are subtleties and are often dictated by the song or style I am playing. Hope that helps!
You're missing out an A on the end of the chorus.
Which amp are you using for these lessons ? I like your tone.
Glad you liked it. this one is a Fender Tele into a 1967 Fender bassman silverface with a little reverb from the strymon flint. Bass and treble both at 6 on the amp.
For better context could you sing the lyrics please.
For sure. You can also get the full chart and tabs I have here: www.jonmaclennan.com/ytv This will have all the bars and everything written out to follow along. Hope that helps!
