I am in Ping woods now and may look at an upgrade to the 10k. My issue is my driver is only 20yrds further than my 3wood and I hit more fairways with my 3.
Excellent 5 stage explanation Alex on how to hit a draw. I am always setting up for an in to out swing, so I have no difficulty in hitting draws. Once in awhile, if I don't get the "knuckle roll" the ball will stay to the right. Well Done Alex! Keep up the good work!!!
Im still using the old TaylorMade M4 D driver. Purchased purely to help prevent slice. No matter what I try, and I’ve tried many tips, still hitting a slice 😂 although it’s no longer a lost ball slice
Alex- Great point. This is how I learned to play golf many years ago. I was told it would give me more extension through the ball. The other thing I might add, that I do. Is try to keep my back to the target as long as possible. With my right arm going under like I’m skipping a rock across the water. To me this stops over the top moves, and swinging across the ball, that creates the dreaded “slice”!!!!! Golfers will find the get more distance because this creates over spin, where a slice creates back spin.😊 Watch the NFL place kickers now kicking 60 yard field goals. Same principle. More extension, and they hook the ball as well…
As a lefty I've been hooking the ball right really bad lately. A golfer from my last round advised me to turn my right wrist in more. I have to work at it more, but there was improvement
Wonderful video Alex. Will definitely be trying this technique at my next session on the simulator. I too recently purchased the new Ping 430 Max 10k and absolutely love it!!! I have always liked Ping drivers but the sound was a bit unbearable however this new club is much better sounding but the performance is superb. I've never had so much forgiveness on my drives before .Can't wait to bring out on the course when the weather here in the states improves.

Now to figure out whether to stick with Callaway Rogue ST triple diamond or use the Callaway Paradym triple diamond purchased over the winter

Then next video about creating a drawl you are not gripping down at all. Your hands are back to normal position. Please explain. Is it better or not to grip down.

I switched last year from an old school Ping I15 to the Callaway Epic Max. Didn't hit is any further, did hit it a little more consistently. Was pretty shocked considering it was probably 17 years old.
I still have a x2 hot callaway driver. Do you think I should upgrade? I drive the ball usually between 250 and 270. I have a natural fade shot working to try to draw the ball sometimes. I like my fade shot though. Like your simple instruction video.
I like this method better than what im doing now. It will allow me to know the right side of the fairway is out of play. A miss will be a duck hook I suppose
Not sure I have enough of a consistent face control with my current driver to make use of this. I foresee many shots out right even further than currently. haha. Really need to find funds to get a new driver. This "box kit" driver with a regular flex graphite shaft is pretty terrible for my 105-108mph swing. Spin numbers are 4x what they should be.
So I was advised to make this change a while back but what I found is I am putting too much pressure on my left hand thumb causing pain. That can't be right.
Broke my decades old driver, picked up a used taylor made for 25 bucks, shaft is too flexible but it's something, I have no idea what club I'd get if funds allowed
@@AlexElliottGolf Yeah it’s great, I find the smaller head just suits my eye, same with hybrids over woods for me. Just feels like I can rip at it a bit more whereas bigger heads feel a little clunky to me.

Standard instruction for creating a draw or getting rid of a slice . Doesnt work , generic nonsense . Every players different and that difference comes out when the big stick comes out , you cannot close the face and swing out if your mind doesnt see it . I actually think its rude to peddle this rubbish . I fixed my driver swing in one day on my own at the range once i decided to stop following this approach and these rules . The cause and correction of YOUR swing issues lies in YOUR takeaway , find the way back that brings you forward with your hands and wrists functioning correctly ( neutral or closed - not open ) be it high , low , inside or outside ( usually low and inside but 🤷🏻♂️) and your worries will vanish . Or you can try this totally unnatural manipulation technique on the video for a few years . Enjoy the duck hooks , pulls and pushfades 😂
Callaway Epic Sub Zero. Turn 66 in May and still fly it 275. Not bad. However, can’t draw it. Finally gave up and try to play a fade. Not always successful. Can’t wait to try this new setup! Thanks!🏌️♂️

I have to give it a go sometimes I'm getting the draw most by changing grip from strong to weak helps a lot

Just fitted for the same driver and 430 3wood, hybrid 3i and irons.
I bought the QI10 core model, got fitted at a taylormade fitting event really love it 😀. Hitting more fairways than I ever have.
Sticking with my Wilson driver for now
Definitely the new ping driver. Been using cobra for a while now but wouldn’t mind a switch.
Tried all the new drivers except the Callaway really liked the new Ping club head the best but still love my Aerojet LS from last year.
I've got the stealth HD 2 driver. Just learning it now.

Either one , i always use different approaches as not everything works for every golfer

I never like to tell golfers to upgrade personally, but i mean, it MAY make a difference, have a try if you can before you buy?

Does this process remain the same if you have a draw biased driver.. I.e. Do you still close the head slightly with a draw biased driver

I’m still playing the TM BRNR Mini driver this year, maybe I’ll invest in the Ping G430 10k at some point but we will see!

Fade is just opposite Joy. Aim swing left of target while keeping clubface pointing directly at target.
