Super nvgs pinpoint enemy locations including ntf making things a whole lot easier honestly I take em off during 173 encounters

I am just interested throughout of all these years how you become insensitive to the scariness of the horror games? It isn't just playing often and facing your fears, right? For example, first time you were playing this new Phasmo clone game (forgot its name) you were legit if not scared then greatly unconfortable, and now you like one of the best players out there...
I think once you really understand a game, you view it as a broken-down series of mechanics that you have to work around. It's hard to be scared when you understand what is happening and have the experience to know how to deal with it.
I was definitely unnerved playing Ghost Hunters Corp to begin with because I didn't (and still don't) fully understand how all the items work in order to protect myself, and the ghost behaviours are very different from Phasmo. It's still a learning process but I'm understanding more and am now generally comfortable playing it.
Having said that, my anxiety has been really bad the last year or so, and that definitely adds to my experience playing tense games. It's not that I find the games scary, but my ability to handle the pressure when playing is definitely affected for the worse :/

I remember the same happening to me when I first picked up Alien Isolation - the sound design, small corridors and dread of Xeno jumping at me anytime practically paralized me at the opening hours, but the more I pushed myself the more I was able to memorize the layout, grow attached to now not so alien design of the station and learned Alien's behavior to play him like a fiddle.
PS: sorry @Nepheron to hear about your anxiety - I hope you're at least a little better knowing how many people here support you :"c
She's more afraid of reality, such as huge-sized spiders, or maxed abilities cockroach. Just like how humans natural enemies are.

Tip: If you put a card trough coarse in 914 you can get bits of paper. Then you can turn those into cards then keycards. So you don’t have to find cards you can just “dupe” them.

Hey neph it’s me for the 65th time to tell you that I love your videos and too keep up the good work :)
If you're in any room for too long the items in that room (be it items you dropped or items already in there) will disappear. I didn't know however that the outside of 914s' chamber is considered the same room. Anyway to work around this you need to occasionally pick up and drop your items or drop them in a separate room

the hole in the wall will despawn items as well if used to often. i even remember that it despawned items that were not even collected. but i may be wrong about that one.
btw as well, the maintenance tunnels are up not down.
everything that uses an elevator is down, means under the main level. the tunnels are up.
i dont know tho why the tunnels are up and not down. they could have done it the other way around

I think I have a way to solve the problem with the items disappearing (I have no idea if this would work, it's just an idea). If you find out the maximum amount of times you can use 914 before the items disappear, you could pick them up to stop them from disappearing then continue with 914. I also think it might be a despawning thing where the game gets rid of items in the ground to reduce lag.

Hey neph, if you use and stay in 1499 for a while while next to the 966 room most of them will despawn so you can go through 966 room without fucking your stamina
