More Dimash will be coming! I have a few more videos lined up then when I go to record again the first on the list is Dimash so stay tuned! If may suggest "Nightwish" & "Epica" in the mean time! Both the ladies have Amazing voices as well!! Although it's a different style of music but has operatic parts in their songs! I'm glad you enjoyed and thank you for watching!

👉Dimash's deep and gentle voice... I melt away. What a wonderful song, wonderfully sung by Dimash. Did you hold your breath? 🤣 The final run was 23 seconds with one breath. 👏👏👏
Dimash sings here as a guest on the New Wave 2018 (international competition). Igor Krutoy, the man in the white shirt at the end, a famous Russian composer, music titan and initiator of the New Wave had invited him. Now, both are a "Dreamteam" and work together from time to time. They are friends, have a father-son-relationship.
... and of course Dimash donates the many flowers to hospitals and retirement homes.
The band that Dimash accompanies at this performance called A’Studio, who composed and performed “Sinful Passion” in 1998. The band is also from Kazakhstan (Dimash's homeland) and this Dimash performance has revived the song.
    *Original: A'STUDIO - Грешная страсть - th-cam.com/video/CN9fHwhna_M/w-d-xo.html
The glottal - stops is a throat singing technique called "bleating", “goat's trill” or „Trillo caprino/ little goat“ used by the indigenous peoples of the Far East. In Iran called this technique „tahrir“
In 17th-century Italy, 'trillo' referred to the so-called 'Monteverdi trill' or bleat, a tremolo-like repetition of a single pitch. Singing these trills was frowned upon.
    * Maryam Akhondy - th-cam.com/video/kAWVblqDCR0/w-d-xo.html

Dimash really likes the backing band (A-Studio). This is their song from 1998 that he is performing to give them more of the credit that they deserve. He has also hijacked the percussionist (triangle guy) for a number of performances. It makes sense because he is very particular about the percussion in his songs. The backstage coverage of his SOS performance in 2017 at the Chinese competition shows him arguing with the producers about when to bring in certain types of percussion. He was only 22 and knew how he wanted percussion to fit the arrangement.

    • @Tyler_Reacts.
      @Tyler_Reacts.  ปีที่แล้ว

He's a man of taste, percussions are very very important. (Atleast to me and apparently Dimash 😉) I recognized the percussion guy I was just calling him triangle guy cause they never get too much action.

Dimash lights up the planet with his voice! The fast riff in the middle is an ethnic Yakutian riff according to Dimash's father. Congratulations to A-Studio Kazakh group and to Baigali Serkebaev (the man who plays the piano and who composed the music of this song in 1998)
    Bravo Dimash!! (once again) 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐

Thank you for your great reaction.
The thing with the flowers has something to do with respect for the artist. It's a cultural thing. The audience listens to a performance without yelling or screaming that the artist can no longer be heard. No sound may be missing. In return, they then shower Dimash with flowers and gifts. That's the norm there. He then always donates the flowers to hospitals, retirement homes or similar institutions.
And I love his outfit. It's just great. The Triangle-guy’s name is Ilya Pokrovskiy and he is a great percussionist and plays in Dimash's band at his concerts. You should see the drumms duels between the two at the end of every concert.
23 seconds in one breath with riffs and runs. Unbelievable. Btw he didn‘t won the Voice. He became second in The Singer competition in China 2017, because of not being a Chinese.
He sang this song on the New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2018. This is an international contest for young performers founded by Igor Krutoy in 2002. Dimash sang here as a guest.
This song was in Russian, a language he speaks fluently.
The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.
He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. When he is praised, he constantly says that it is thanks to his teachers and his parents, who made it all possible for him. He’s just incredible.
In this case he thanked the band A-Studio. It’s a Kazakh band who wrote this song in 1998. However, Dimash sang it differently. And in my opinion, much better 😄.
If you like some really great fancam versions then I recommend the one from the Moscow concert: th-cam.com/video/uxLhwfFFUQs/w-d-xo.html
Or another one from the Arnau concert: th-cam.com/video/YJElGH2hquw/w-d-xo.html
They are all a bit different
Please react next to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating.
This song and this performance is my absolute favourite🥰. I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I have gasping breath all the time. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so demanding and so commanding😱. There he is such a Beast! It’s absolutely stunning. Gasping and racing heart and I’m not even talking about him singing. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯
    th-cam.com/video/dkPS6t84qg4/w-d-xo.html

For those who like information about Dimas' songs:
Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The dead singer (who Dimash was a fan of) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poetess Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the long-haired keyboardist, who we see in the video that accompanies Dimash.
    Hugs from Brazil!

This is a cover of Sinful Passion originally by A´Studio. The bass and the piano players were part of that band and the second was one of the songwiters.
6:32 the greeting/farewell to the spirits inherited from Turkic/Tengrenist traditions in certain muslim tribes in the ancient Turan to pay homage to the ancestors and spirits of nature. In Spanish I know it as "hammering vibrato" or "glottal vibrato". In Iran I heard they call it "che-che". It is not yodeling but an ethnic technique relative to yodeling but needs more control on the notes you sing than in yodeling.

I hear ya it's not my playlist type either, But the dude is very talented & Humble. Can sing in like 15 different languages and I do like the stage performance for the type of music he does. I'll watch and support him cause I appreciate the talent! (Plus it's what was requested) He can go even higher in octaves which is pretty crazy. He does have a metal like song I heard and that's probably going to be my next one I do of him.

@@Tyler_Reacts. You need some Diana Ankudinova a Russian girl Queen of goosebumps most unique voice I’ve ever heard and I’m 70.She’s not my playlist either but watching her is incredible. She’s 19 almost 20 but recommend seeing her at age 14 and 15 doing Wicked Game and Human also Derniere Danse in French and Rechenka in Russian.Probably alter or blur your screen copyright I’m not sure

@ Jim Morris ...Not all Dimash's songs are operatic. He actually calls his genre classical crossover.
Maybe try Be With Me, Screaming, Marigolds, and some his Kazak folk songs in his native language. 👍🤗

I simply dont understand some reactors. Are only high notes beautiful to you? Bass baritone, alto notes are simply what? A prelude to a soprano? I dont understand. Appreciate every note and styling that exists Dimash for the beauty and talent required for each or u dont love music. Found Dimash in 2017 and have loved his talent since. Mark

I don't know if you're including me with what you said. But I do appreciate every bit of it. In my other reactions I do talk about his lows and the contrast of how high he can go and how low he can go. Maybe you should check them out 😉 But it's more impressive (in my opinion) when he goes high not very many men can go that high, if at all. And in this song I do talk about his lows.
