    It's physics. Just like in a bicycle if you wanna go to the right you have to move left first and then turn right. Because if you just steer to the right you will lose balance and fall off. Our subconscious knows this but we don't. Which is another amazing feat of the human mind.

    the logic of this is, ang countersteer is kapag ililiko mo s kaliwa ang manibela mo, mag lelean s right ung motor mo, kaya liliko ka pa right, and vice versa.. and only gumagana lng itokapag tumatakbo motor mo, like nasa 15kph pataas ang takbo. lower than that is literal na liliko mo pakaliwa manibela mo kng kakaliwa ka,subukan nyu magpatakbo ng motor straight lng kau, then nasa center lng ung weight nyu, subukan nyung kabigin ung manibela s kaliwa diba ung bike mo mag lelean s kanan kaya kakanan ung direction ng motor mo, pero ung frontwheel mo nakaharap yan ng bahagya s kaliwa.. ang countersteering ginagamit ito lalong lalo na s pag babankking. pansinin nyu motoGP.. ung lean angle nila sayad siko at tuhod na, pero bakit kamo hindi cla bumabagsak?.. kase ung front wheel nila, kapag nag lelean cla s right, papuntang kaliwa ung frontwheel nila kaya hindi cla nag cracrash, imagine nyu, kng mag lean ka s right tas kakaigin mo rin pakanan ang motor mo, for sure sesemplang ka, thats the physics of the bike, gravity wise, factor tlaga d2 is ung weight distribution nyu s motor, pansinin nyu s mga nag babanking, nilalabas nila ang kalhati ng pwet nila, to reduce weight s motor, para hindi stress ung motor, at dpat samahan mo rin ng throttle control, para pag habang pababa ng pababa ung lean angle mo, at kng mpapansin mo limit na, pigain mo konti ung throttle mo para umangat ung motor mo para d ka tuluyan bumagsak, in that way, makakapagmabilis ka s corners, yang ang sikreto para mabilis ka s corner, alalhanin nyu ang banking ay may ksamang throttle, hindi porket nakapaglean ka s curve, eh bankin n un, ang purpose ng pagbabanking ay para maka manuvear ka sa kurbada ng mabilis, itutulak ung motor mo paabante para hindi ka tuluyan bumagsak, importante sa pag babanking ay throttle control.. mas babagsak ka s kurbada kng mag memenor ka tas mag cocounter steer ka, know ur limitations, mahirap minsan i spoonfeed ang ganitong tutorial.. minsan tlaga experience will teach u how to do it...

      Stiff Meister TS got a point sir. di masyado na explain yung counter steering. hindi palagi ginagamit ang counter steering lalo na sa mabagal na speed. hindi rin lahat na nag bibigay ng insight eh atribida, tumutulong lang sa mga hindi sanay sa motor.

    Sobrang natuwa naman ako sa video mo. Nag aaral pa lang kasi ako mag motor, and I am yet to finish my beginner course. Medyo hirap ako sa pag control talaga ng manibela, pero dahil sa video mo, ittry ko itong technique na sinabi mo next practice ko. Maraming salamat and gawa ka pa ng more videos like me in the future.

    tama yan paps. pinakamadaling paliwanag jan is ung bibigatan ang handle is normal or direct steering for leaning the motorcycle in specially cornering dahil sa centrifugal force. ung countersteering is itutulak mo ung handlebar pa opposite direction kung saan ka mag tuturn (ex gusto mo mag right turn, itulak mo muna ung right handlebar pa left) causing the front wheel na lumihis sa opposite direction and mag immediate leaning ng ung parang babagsak ung motor sa desired turn direction pero hindi dahil mag throttle control ka. applicable to pag madaliang iwas sa kasalubong, tight cornering at short u-turn.
    kaya pag ng immediate lean ung motor, habulan dapat agad ng throttle.

    The keyword there is "counter", meaning may opposing movement. Counter steering is not banking to where you want to turn to, but turning the wheel to cause the motorcycle bank the "opposite" way. In other words, if gusto mong lumiko sa kanan, pull the handle bar briefly to the "left" para magBank ang motor sa "right" (kaya tinawag na "counter" steering) , then if mag bank na sa kanan, bawiin mo ng kabig ang manibela sa kanan. Very useful sya sa mga sharp turns.

      Ito yung tama instead of pushing the handle bars you pull the handle bars to prevent hand strain.. Or just watch corniring Bible napaka ganda.

    Nice paps. Siguradong malaking tulong to sa mga new riders. Tataas ang confidence nila sa likuan since alam na nila kung ano counter steering, kasi assuming ngayon, steering lang yung akala nila na ginagawa nila, pero hindi nila alam counter steering pala ang tawag doon. Iba ang steering sa counter steering.
    Recap lang mga paps:
    Kung gusto mong lumiko pa left. PRESS the left handle to the left.
    Kung gusto mong lumiko pa right.
    PRESS the right handle to the right.
    Applicable lang yung normal steering kung low speed kalang, usually 10kph to 15kph below. Kaya maraming nag oovershot mga new riders kasi ang ginagawa nila is steering instead of counter steering sa high speed, kaya ayun, pag kumaliwa sa kanan pupunta, at kung sa kanan pa kaliwa. Sana e put in to practice ng kapwa riders natin to avoid accident. Salamat sa tutorial na to paps. More tutorials to come hehe. Suggest ko ang engine braking paps for emergency brake. For safety rin sa mga new riders natin in emergency situation.

    First time ko nag practice mag motor kagabi. Clutchless shifting ung motor ng kapatid ng jowa ko. Gets ko na ung logic sa countersteering since panay nood sa youtube ng tutorials, pero nahihirapan pa din ako lumiko. Kaya pala nahihirapan ako lumiko at times since di pa ako msyadong sanay sa throttle control. Laking tulong neto paps. Salamat, may natutunan ako dito. Thumbs up! Practice practice muna sa pag pihit ng throttle saka sa pag hold :D

    Correction, normal steering like on cars can be done on a motorcycle by leaning your body on the same direction as to your bike is going in order cancel out inertia and maintain your momentum despite of a sudden change in velocity. Counter-steering on one hand, cancels out your prior velocity wherein you experience a sudden resistance which is inertia due to a sudden change of opposite direction and then gives rise to a new velocity by a sudden lean of your body to the intended direction thus making much more easier to curve since it is as if you were now driving on a straight line.

      I'm confused of what counter steering is used for. What I'm doing is just leaning my body to the direction I go. So if you go to the right the handle bar will face to the right also. It's impossible to face it to the left while you are going to the right. Please comment those who are expert in counter steering. Please explain how it is done and when in particular situation is being applied.

    Countersteering is more like doing a drifting. It is used on high speed cornering. It has nothing to do with body leaning. It is only about the handlebar.

    In simple terms. On high speeds nagle-lean para mag turn. Lam to ng mga nagb-bike. If u want to turn left, lean left. So basically katawan mo na ang nagcocontrol. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

    Tama yang tinuturo mo sir Vinci, yung mga nagrereact dyan wala tlaga alam, magnagsasabi pa na magbengking bengking nlng dw kesa magcounter steering, eh hindi nila alam na naiaaply na nila yung counter steering ng hindi nila alam, Hindi na makakabengking kung walang counter steering na involve, physics at science yan idol, subukan nilang iapply yan at siguradong masmasisiyahan pa sila sa pagmomotor nila, kaya fully lng pagvlog idol.

    Pag above 20kph iba na turning system, jan na papasok counter steering. Parang pagsumuntok ka. Pag leleft hook ka syempre ung suntok po pa right, pag right hook naman suntok mo pa left. Pag tinulok mo ung manubela mo pa left pupunta ka sa right, pag tinulak mo manubela mo sa right pupunta ka sa left.

    Pag mabagal di na kailangan ng counter steer. Usually ginagamit ito sa highspeed turn. To steer right, push the right handlebar. To steer left, push the left handlebar.

      Oo balentong ka kapag ginawa mo yan paps mahirap itayo motor kasi center of gravity mo lahat nsa kaliwa o kanan. Try mo kpag kakaliwa ka lagay mo body weight mo sa kaliwa tapos bahagyang kanan ang handle bar mo.

      @@jerver5811 baka makatulong lang po. If you're using bicycle lalo bmx, (bmx user and rider here pero naka pro din po lisensya ko sa driving ng 2-4wheels po.
      Pagnagbabike tayo try mo tumayo sa pedal habng umaandar then iliko mo un bike either sides pero nakatayo ka parin,letting it to make a curve turn ng mabilisan at madalian.
      Kung sa motor naman, magagawa mo lang ito ng mabilis n paliko pero nakaupo ka parin, kokontrahin mo lang bahagya un weight by giving an slight weight to the opposite side para mabalance un pagliko ng hindi nadidisgrasya.
      Never experience yet sa motor pero lagi ko kasi ginagawa yan sa bmx :)

    The need for countersteer is due the the gyroscope effect of the turning front wheel. The gyroscope effect starts only after around the speed on 12 miles per hour and higher. Prior to that speed you just turn in a normal way like turning the wheels of your car. I think that's what you want to explain. Notice that at slow speed, you don't counter steer. You just turn your wheels in the direction you want to go. At higher speed, then it is a different story.

    magandang point yung throttle control. pwede ka mag-overshoot pag wala kang control. at kung wala ka naman sa racetrack always mas okay na magslowdown sa kurbada o kung sporty ka sustain your speed sa kurbada wag umarangkada baka magovershoot.

    dagdag kaalaman mga paps, kaya nga po ang mga gulong ng mga motor ay di katulad sa kotse, sa kotse flat diba? tapos sa motor may curve, ung curve na yun para makapaglean ka. Mas malaki gulong sa likod, mas mababa ung lean. Di na necessary ung gulong sa harap para po un sa manuverability. Kung di nyo parin po magets ung counter steering, mag mabilis kayo onti tas bitawan nyo po ung manibela, touch nyo po ung manibela kahit 1-2 fingers, liliko kayo, syempre bigatan onti at wag gawin sa crowded area.

    pag gusto mo kumaliwa push your left handle bar to the right. hindi mo sya bibigatan kundi ipupush. yan e pag medyo mabilis lang takbo. hindi mo maaapply ang counter steer pag mabagal. Counter steer and steer is magka iba.

    Throttle control is how smooth you on and off the throttle paps. kasi may weight transfer yan pag on gas ang weight nasa back pag off ang weight nasa front.
