He might like her, but he has a fairly possessive attitude. Really good job giving us the info so far & this seems much more interesting & involved than Sara is Missing game.

It's always portrayed as "oh, you're giving me the silent treatment, huh? *huff*" and never "Hey, don't make me file a missing persons report on you." The missing persons report could even work as a joke between friends. Alas, the story wouldn't be very interesting if Greg got worried about not getting a response after a few days. Instead of getting more frustrated for weeks. Weeks! The story also wouldn't be very interesting if police were called as soon as Greg saw the messy apartment and heard the noise. Or if the player character turned the phone in to police once weird stuff started happening. Or if the police ever got involved in general. There'd be a lot of explaining to do, but there's enough weird stuff to keep Greg and the player from taking the heat, I think. On the game, the comment section's already noticing spooky things that weren't made obvious, like the background Anna looking out of the screen instead of down after the reboot. That's good! I dunno if it's supposed to be subconscious psychology about seeing eyes looking at you, but it's working.
+Thelothuo Greg is the stereotypical guilty guy who texts repeatedly out of frustration because he screwed up & fought with his girlfriend. A possessive jerk tbh. His VA is perfect actually because he makes him totally unlikeable lol. Since she seemed to post now & again & didn't _completely_ disappear, there would be little for the police to do I think. She's not missing, she's just missing from seeing him & going into work. I have watched the whole game already, so I will not spoil for you. It is worth the watch!

Also, there are lives beyond the internet and all that. But the people who work within earshot of me I do notice the absence of. Since they work at a constant location at predetermined times, there's enough to conclude they _should_ be there. And it feels like there's a hole where they should be. Like if I went into that space they should occupy, I might get sucked out of the world, too. I might just be a nosy person.
