Mr. Davie Mc.Phail ties my favoritt fly «Vaskebjørn» and with bead chain eyes up side down. Actually never done that, it might even work better. Thank for a great tutorial Mr. 🙏 All the best, Eivind Berulfsen.

I live in South Florida and I think that this fly could work very well for snook and tarpon on the beach or under dock lights. Great looking fly!!

I made up some small ones that look good for carp. Since the fly rides hook up I think it will work well. Thanks again for a really cool fly pattern!

Love to see you tying in a larger hook than is considered the norm. Definitely going to be brave now and use bigger hook sizes in the future👍👍👍

G’morning Davey. I don’t do much sea trout fishing, but this pattern is adaptable to bonefish. This one will have a variation or two (pink puff and spawning shrimp) in my Bahamas box soon. Thanks for showing us.

I've never seen this pattern before. You make it look so easy to tie and very lifelike. Nice one, thank you very much, p.s it kind of looks like a squid too.🤙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

In Scandinavia this pattern is called Vaskebjørn, one of the best sea trout fly.

Nice fly , I often wonder is it just because people don't use flies like these or any other fly in the river that they don't catch with them , once a fly gains a bit of popularity it catches more and more fish because the pattern is used more regularly 🤔
