@LoserMcBeaver It's $327 per session and you get to drive for 10 laps in the sector which is almost half the track, and it takes about 20 minutes of driving.
How did you get to use northern part of track? When I did this 2 months ago, they got me to use the southern part (going under the hotel) with more turns.
Sorry it took me 9 years to reply, I had no idea the comment existed! I've been on both parts of the track, its just random by the guys running the show, you can't pick nor could you ask for it. Both parts of the track are just amazing.
They didn't make a big deal out of it, yet they weren't happy that I did overtake the instructor when in the pre-session briefing they made clear that no one should, to be honest I can't be blamed obviously! New rules now allow drivers to switch to faster teams, which wasn't available during the time I was driving in this video.

You can check the prices here www.yasmarinacircuit.com under "Experiences", though the prices kept increasing throughout time, and it's not a race nor are you allowed to race, no overtaking as well. If the instructors know that you drive well they'll put you in the "fast team" if not you'll drive with the "slow team". Also if they know that you drive well you'll drive behind the instructor's car, if that happens you'll have more fun chasing him because no matter how good/fast you are the instructor will always be better. As for the duration; its around +-25 minutes. Not to be missed.
Damn sounds like really fun!
@LoserMcBeaver its amazing, no one should miss this!

I'm not sure why/how they choose which part of the track to drive in, i drove in the northern part for 6 times and only once in the southern part.

How much do you pay for it? how long is the 'race'?

Not really, any driving license would work.
