Fixed the shortcomings of the previous version like not being able to fit an iPhone with a case or it losing a Bluetooth connection when the phone was not docked. And it's nice that this one has a charger with a USB port rather than an attached cable you can use it with other things too now.
However, I don't like how bulky the new carkit looks, previous one was slick! Also, a bit of a bad timing no? A new iPhone is coming out in a month with a new dock. And the price is... expensive.

You dont not want to fast charge your phone's battery it will eventually thrash it and it won't hold a good enough charge over the course of time the slower you charge a battery the longer it will last
