Haunted Hogsmeade Shop Quest, PlayStation exclusive quest is dropping its exclusivity soon and with it, this DLC will become available to all the platforms.
But also, the developers have announced that there will be more additional updates and features that will come to the game. What those features will be is a question, but I hope it inludes a brand new quest and or a new dungeon with a new cosmetic pack, new enemies and a few more spells.
ALso here's my full DLC wishlist.

i don’t know why, but after the hint clip I started thinking about the first HP movie/book and Fluffy, who guarded the entrance on the third floor
Fluffy is a distinct analogy of the Cerberus from the Greek mythology
And in addition, his weakness was music played by a STRING instrument - harp
The video lets us choose our instrument - they all are also STRING ones. I strongly think we can get a new “trials” arc that is guarded by a cerberus, hahah. Anyway.
I suppose that can be related to DLC Update based on new magical creatures and quests concerning them - either rescuing or encountering.
We also have dragons models in the game, so i bet we will have something related to beasts

Needless to say, we already have a potential location for Fluffy. At the top of stairway before entering the choir room there's a darkened hallway that leads to an empty room. I always thought that both this hallway and room are extremely similar to the location of Fluffy in the Philosopher's Stone movie...👀

Taking existing NPC abilities and adding them to player characters is the domain of modders mate, game developers will only add those features to player characters in the next game when they can charge you for a full price game.
It would be cool to get a new quest that sets everything up for the sequel, it would help to get everyone hyped for it

I am a big Wizarding World-fan and I think that more RPG elements (sit down, sleep, eat etc.), better schedules for the NPCs, more spells and potions, more beasts and companionship would make a big difference🥹
I really hope they add more spells. I find it annoying that enemies are able to use Expulso and Reducto and we're not.

I believed from the beginning that if they were to do a DLC, we would some sort of follow up to Sebastian and him making up with his sister. This could also NOT work because we get to choose if you tell on him or not, so maybe it's just wishful thinking. 😅
I do want the continuation of Sebastian’s story, BUT I kinda would want to save that for a sequel. Or maybe whatever happened in the dlc is like a memory.. Ooo maybe a story of what happened to Seb’s parents 👀

I'm hoping for an official and polished companion feature with NG+ (stronger enemies, new attack patterns, etc.).
That would definitely give the NG+ a breath of fresh air!

“Stronger enemies”?? Did you play the game on easy or sumn?? Cuz the enemies I fought took a whopping like 5 minutes to take one creature down (them lil frog things, and the giant trolls) were unnecessary tanks. But then again i played on max difficulty

regardless of that, there were various tricks you could use to kill dugbogs (frogs) faster. like lifting them by their tongue and ... slash their belly with diffindo 🥲

I would like to finally be able to explore the Chamber of Secrets via Ominis and depending on the fate of Sebastian he could join us. Naturally the Basilisk would be sleeping and dormant but it would be neat to see what it would look like.
As awesome as that would be unfortunately it would break cannon. Tom Riddle was the first person to open it

Hopefully they'll also give us the opportunity to finally sit on chairs, benches and sofas, get in and off our beds in the common rooms, as well as to sit and eat with the students at the Great Hall. Just a small, quality-of-life update.
Oh, and Photo mode as well.

If they continue anything it should be our character and his relationship with his friends. we never get anything else about them other than the bare minimum. maybe visting perfessor fig and miriams graves, what about the minstry id like them to seek us out because of everything that happened and we get to tell our story to the wizarding world

however the recipe for turning into an animagus exists within the game if you didn't know. pretty detailed actually.
I don't really see the benefit or desire to have it added into the game as a play option.

It be nice if there’s a DLC to where you fulfill your promise to Sebastian in finding a cure to her curse or removing it somehow.
A different outcome would be good also, perhaps another way to learn the last unforgivable curse (not allowed to say what it is due to trigger words via TH-cam).
New potions, spells, more enemies, stronger enemies and more! There’s plenty of space so no new areas is needed, just needs to be filled with more enemy encounters.
Id give my life for that to happen. Like take my whole bank account Avalance!
I wish we could have asked the Kerpers about Anne's curse. Ancient magic aside they were some of the most powerful and experienced Wizards of their Era so they might have known something about it.
@@stevenceja4706 To me the keepers wouldn’t be much help at all. They come across as a secret society that’s primarily concerned with keeping ancient magic a secret and to bury deep the consequences in using it recklessly.
More then likely they would tell the main character they’re unable to help and will strongly discourage you from using your powers to undo it.
Sebastian was on the right track but his uncle went and threw a monkey wrench in on it all.
Even the Magic Ministry of Magical Law Enforcement knows that sometimes you need to fight dark magic with dark magic.
Only in this case Solomon let his pride get in the way and refuses to even consider anything outside the established protocol, especially fighting fire with fire.
That being said however, “The Dark Sacrifice” is a huge red flag in some fires are just too hot to use.
Hmmmm…maybe something like sacrificing a bad guy perhaps? Dark but more shades of grey. 😅
I think the clip is that Hogwarts has a new band class and you get to play an instrument and by choosing an instrument is like being sorted and with that particular instrument you could interact with paintings or ghost

When I heard features, all I could think of was additional stuff around Hogwarts and Hogsmeade.
I would love a Curfew system that adds Prefects to the castle late at night, just some stealth variety to exploring the castle after hours. Anything Quidditch related could be a minigame like Quidditch try outs, even an enchanted Bludger could be used in combat. The environment could be more interactive with not just sitting, but something like books in the Library we're able to read (Example: Interact with a prompt on a bookshelf and it's a page about Devil's Snare). Perhaps use the noticeboards in the Common Rooms to read random notes from students and staff similar to the Daily Prophet stand in Hogsmeade.
One quest idea I had is where instead of the Chamber of Secrets, we wind up in the depths of a cave in the Highlands and have to escape unnoticed by a Basilisk that lurks there.
It would be cool to buy and use Zonko's joke products and Honeydukes sweets outside of the shops, but I feel like that will be saved for a sequel.
Great wishlist! And I agree that’s probably more likely for the sequel, but who knows maybe they’ll bring some of it this summer

From the clip, I suspect different musical pieces added so that it doesn't become too repetitive every time you enter DADA tower. That would be pretty cool tbh. Like, imagine entering that tower virtually every day for 7 years with the same piece playing. I know the high society Slytherins having tea there enjoy a little variation.
For the other additional content, I would have said more Hogwarts secrets but I would like them to save that part for a sequel. Don't spoil us too much on that front just yet!

If I was to hazard a guess I'd say that clip was hinting at a quest that centres around the hogwarts music like maybe we attend music class or there's a music club or something, you know something similar to the frog choir quest in Hogwarts Mystery.

Amit is primed for the werewolf storyline. He is the only one we didn’t get a lot of backstory on and his love for the stars/moon would be perfect for contradictions in his character development.

He is not even a character mate, but a Stereotype in a Trope. Ravenclaw should get a proper companion, who is well thought off, well written and properly established. Not a Cringe Stereotype. We already have three named background NPCs (Andrew, Mahendra and Hector), make any one of them a Proper Companion for Ravenclaw
I honestly feel like theyre going to add a real companion system to the game at some point. It was planned, you can tell because of the art book descriptions.

I totally get it! I do that too sometimes.. when I approach the ending of the game I savor it for the longest time.
And you can revisit Room of Requirement as much as you want! And the more you fill your vivariums the room continues to expand

1. While I may not understand what dlc is, cause I just go for playing the game. Tell me pls if I'm right or wrong. As I have the standard edition, eventually through my ps account and link to wizardingworld for my wand; I got the dark arts gear, thestral mount and battle arena. Later Professor Ronen's outfit and Merlin's cloak. Is that what dlc is? Am I right or wrong.
2. I hope the hunted dungeon quest will b there, including pre-order equipments of Caligo the onyx hippogriff, and Felix Felicis potion.
3. For a sequal game. We get to become an animagus with the choice of what to b. If we choose marine base like a dolphin, we could meet the selkie merfolks in the lake. Or even become magical animals (eg. dragons, sea serpents, phoenixs, thunderbirds ect.ect.), which r said to b rare amongs wizards. And we get our own patronus that'll b like our wizarding worldaccount, or choose whatever like when getting our wands. That includes a phoenix one, since that one isn't on the test. Oh, Oh, we even travel to Uagadou that Natty and her mother takes us for a visit during spring break.
Hope they ade classes where we can go anytime, interact with people, eat at the hall, sit, sleep and stuff. Like an immersion as a student of the school itself. That would be so cool.

I know it is definitely not like anything in HP, but the instruments playing on their own makes me think of a new spell similar to the one in the story "Sorcerer's Apprentice" bringing the mops and brooms to life.

I hope that hint with the music would be the ability to have background music in the Room of Requirement other than the default game music which gets kinda annoying after a while (IMHO). Would be nice to have game objects like the violin in the ROR playing music. Or maybe something to do with the music room/classroom.

For hogwarts legacy 2 they should have the triwizard tournament(if it fits with the timeline of when the tournament is held) for dlc they should add the gold snidget as a taming creature, they should explore more about the other founders the same way they did slytherin

I dont think exactly means dlc , but i imagine new difficult , the NG+ ( i love it this mode) , hair , change one eye like grindelwald , scars , and the most amaizing but i dont believe , change designe of your wand.

@@BenjaminSnow that depend of the point of view. We technically associate DLC , with more content of history. The clothes , design of wand , hair or scars etc I see its more like the typical upload of version of game.
We can make an amaizing debate. I apreciate so much chandler after the little video he told about the finnaly delay from the game when we knew the game will born the 10 of february and the video gameplays. But if the game designer said he didnt wanted made dlc ( in first place for respect the players of Ps4 , Xbox , Switch ). Imagine announce of DLC and the other player eating spoiler from the story and then from a DLC. If finnaly is a DLC i will put myself the killing curse. But i have the feeling they will move in new mission from our partners ( Sebastian , Natty , Popy ).

They need to take notes from harry potter magic awakened with all the stuff to do there and hogwarts mystery as far as content options as well as black lake stuff. It has tons of potential so I truly hope they don't continue to drop the ball cause the psn quest tbh is good but it's too short
Better not be multiplayer. Keep this series singleplayer only. They need to put the money and effort into making the current game and series better. Want multiplayer? Then ask for a new multiplayer game within the universe. Multiplayer fans already have the online only quidditch game coming. Something which i dont care for cause of the lack of offline singleplayer options. Obviously we arent getting quidditch for this game and thats fine. Im accepting that fact. But for example, if u wanna maybe get an idea what this update could be for HL, look to Cyberpunk 2077s 2.1 update. They added a ton to the game while re using old assets already in game. Thats all im expecting here for HL.
I would appreciate some co-op options similar like in Elden Ring, but yeah.. I'd rather have a separate multiplayer game set in the Wizarding World.

People keep talking about a single quest, haunted hogsmeade, we need more quests like 40 story quests, more things to do man
All you need:
1. Realism difficulty, i.e. unforgivable curses from all enemies. All existing difficulty levels are simple.
2. More curses and charms for NPC and heroes
3. More game mechanics, potions, evasions, tactics from NPCs and hero
4. The opportunity to assemble a team or at least one friend
5. The game mechanics for wizarding power should be more complex than a simple time rollback
I believe that since it's the Quidditch arena that you learn to fly exclusively I feel that they need a DLC that brings actual Quidditch matches to the game and or a sky dueling level as well.
Its Quidditch for sure lol they're play testing it for PC. Probably even multi player
A ng+ feature would be good starting a new game with a new house but having all the collectables, brooms ect carry over

I would like to see them increase the lvl cap 5 or 10 lvls, new spells/clothing, new side quests and we need quidditch. I think a standalone dlc for the TriWizard tournament would be epic and the quidditch cup, at least is my hope's.
Edit: also more creatures as other's said and I have a alternative idea for multi-player, it would be cool if we had split screen.
I would say we shouldn't wish for so many things because it's not known at all what the developers are planning... it could just be small things that end up having little meaning... so just wait and see otherwise the frustration and disappointment will set in ending big...can't imagine that the developers will add new missions or new animals...I think it'll be cosmetic things

I think we could get a multiplayer like Ghosts of Tsushima did like legends mode. In that mode it was a co-op mode where you played as legendary warriors. This one we could play as legendary wizards who have specific ancient abilities. I know that’s WILD but no one expected it from Tsushima and early on the HL team said that was one of their inspirations for the game so it’s possible they were inspired by their multiplayer. It would be SO easy for them to do IMO

As far as the assets of the DLC needing to be there for things like the black lake or ministry of magic, there's are things representing both in the game it is very possible they could have e already created the extra assets they need to add those dlc items or places and could just being very cryptic and low key about it to keep the hype up. Look at the quidditch assets in the game and how qudditch is not and then look at the announce of the game quidditch champions. Some companies actually know what they are doing and how to hype up players while keeping it extremely cryptic

i don't know what they plan other than the playstation exclusive to be accesible to everyone but i'm hoping for more story mission like we start our 6th year maybe new wand design and handle new spell like the patronus charm mayeb quidditch aswell maybe also a romance option and perhaps more context on our character past so far we have none i want other part of the map new ennemy to defeat more potions creature maybe more class make it feel like a school more wizard chess things to do in the common room an answer to anne condition more training with our ancient magic there too many things that i want to name them all but those are the principale

I just hope that when DLC comes out it comes out on ALL PLATFORMS AT THE SAME TIME. Bad enough switch players had to wait until the end of the year to get HL .. being that the anniversary is close it sucks that other platforms have to wait until the summer.

It was only a matter of time dlc would come to this game (the best game of 2023 btw), so i’m really excited to see what they have planned not only for its 1 year anniversary but also after until HL2.. just give me anything new at this point 🤩🙏🏽

I think you're expecting way too much imo. I'm only expecting to see QOL improvments plus the exclusive quest this year. They said that they had no plans for DLC pre launch, which means that if they are developing a DLC, it's only been in development for MAX 1 year, which isn't enough for a big DLC. I really think you should temper your expectations as people are getting overly excited for it, and frankly I've seen it all before from casual gamers.
This game needed more enemies. The ones that are there were so simple and easy to beat.
More enemies would be much appreciated

As a former QA analyst for a triple A game developer, the release of the playstation exclusive to other consoles going passed the one year mark has to do with the complications of porting materials TO the other consoles. You can't just take coding for playstation and shove it into the xbox game and have it work smoothly. It takes time. They likely wanted to wait until they were certain it's be worth it to port the dlc so that when they did it wouldn't be at a loss.

i play on PS4 and that PlayStation mission crash the game I use the dark magic that dark spells crash the game so in that mission I stop using them and the game stop crashing it crash 8 times
that's odd 🤔 When I played it, it was fine for me.. though I didn't have AK unlocked at that time. Crucio worked fine

Personally I would like to see a Chamber Of Secrets DLC. Ominous already told us he can hear the Basilisk. We know of and can revisit the scriptorium. I would have to say that even non slytherins also want to fight a thousand year old snake. Like what if ominous gets blinded by rage and starts petrifying students and we gotta knock him out of his rage. Idk, I’m just brainstorming now.

I literally pre-ordered Hogwarts legacy back when it came out I’ve been so busy playing games with my friends and everything since then but I finally got around to playing Hogwarts legacy just in the last week and I am loving it I am only like 20% done with the story I’ve been doing a lot of side contact along with a little bit of the main contact I like doing the side Contant first and dabbling with the main Contant I’m just a type of person

@@BenjaminSnow definitely makes the game last longer and gives you more time to play it and more time to explore so you’re not beating the game is fast and you get to see the whole world instead of running through it like a bat out of hell and trying to complete it as fast as possible
