You seriously need to watch South Indian and Bengali movies. No Srijit Mukherjee movie is a SHOCKER. If you're reading my comment then go for Jaatishwar, Chotuskone, Baishe Srabon, Hemlock Society, Nirbaak etc. There are a whole lot of great South Indian movies but for the timing I will recommend just 1 and that is Kumbalanghi Nights.
Roman polanski movies and jack nicholsan movie " The Shining" is what I would like to recommend. Also, The Hunt movie dekhne ke baad my perspective got changed and at the same time Aamir Khan's episode on child abuse surfaced. I have recommended this movie to my friends to understand their thought.but since it was in spanish so lots of them started and stopped watching. I m still not sure about the crux of this movie..Is it on friendship, perspective,or innocence of children where they make up stories on imagination ,which ultimately hampered the life of protagonist.( in one discussion they say,"Children are form of God and it is said whatever they say is true, but unfortunately rare they do)..
woah i didn't except burning to be on list...i had watched it when it got released it I had watched it many times bcz of its way of storytelling..the way suspense was kept and hinting was done.
I was so hoping for Boyhood to be on the list too, but after two entries from RIchard Linklater, i thought I might be getting a little too greedy. Stil a great list tho, haven't watched many from it, looking forward to watching them! Love you Vaibhav for helping me keep the love for cinema and movies alive within me. It so hard to not feel guilty about not spending my time 'productively' and not being able to go to the cinema halls due to covid is so frustrating and infuriating. Thank you for recommendations. I genuinely want to know why all movie buffs seem to abhor the superhero genre mainly marvel? The craft that goes into making those movies, the level of acting, creative action and the emotions it brings out in people is not an indicator of it pandering to the common denominator but a great litmus test of the emotional bonds the audience has forged with the characters. Would really like to see more love for the Infinity Saga from CCT.
@@FilmyDost007 That's because people go by thinking that the MCU are movies. It's actually a series. They're are a few duds along the way, but the character development both emotional and physical, shifting aliance of both Iron Man and Captain America is worthy of note amongst great story telling. People have to adjust their lens.

Loved the fact that Coherence is on the list... it's one of my favourite movie
Highly underrated : The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty
woah i didn't except burning to be on list...i had watched it when it got released it I had watched it many times bcz of its way of storytelling..the way suspense was kept and hinting was done.
Vaibhav's love for films is so pure and contagious. I'm so thankful for having discovered Chalchitra Channel and getting to listen to Vaibhav.
Thanks!
I commend the effort and the groundbreaking concept of boyhood but is a pretty average movie if you distance yourself from the real-time factor
Not even a Single movie from South industries?? 😌😁😪

Anurag Kashyap is kind of common thread in most of this list, guess which ones?
If you liked Melancholia , then I'm pretty sure you will like Another Earth (2001) .
Oh btw what's the name of the theatre you mentioned at 16:13 ?
Matterden, Lower Parel
Thank you for recommendations. I genuinely want to know why all movie buffs seem to abhor the superhero genre mainly marvel?
The craft that goes into making those movies, the level of acting, creative action and the emotions it brings out in people is not an indicator of it pandering to the common denominator but a great litmus test of the emotional bonds the audience has forged with the characters.
Would really like to see more love for the Infinity Saga from CCT.
Not everyone likes superhero movies mainly mcu coz all of their movies have basic premise and execution
