IB, Andy, Your videos have started a fire inside me. A fire that has been lost for 45 years. I grew up fly fishing in the mountains of North Carolina, USA. Been watching for a while and never commented. Absolutely brilliant content. My wife and I live in NC in the US and where we live (mountains) there are endless opportunities for trout fishing. I love to watch you guys fish and especially enjoy the grayling and northern fishing since we don't have those species here. Cheers!

Oooh, Lee, Diver Dave Repair will have some second hand waders, he usually fixes them up and is known very well along anglers to have some good waders. Maybe worth dropping him a message and seeing if he has anything on that budget? Also, a lot of people say that Vass 700E waders are very good, they're about £70 but they're rubber, if you planning fishing through winter I wouldn't recommend rubber ones, they get really cold. Ron Thomson does some fairly cheap neoprene waders will be less than £100 for you. Hope this helps?
Well done 👍🏻 nice trout. I have a lot of weirs in my local river as it was once a industrial area.The thing with having the weirs is that the trout are stuck within areas from weir to weir as they are too high for fish to pass upstream. You really would love Yorkshire,we have many rivers. In towns or in country side loaded with nice wild brown trout. My area is rough but some nice trout in it 4-5 lb ranges lots of smaller ones too. 45 mins away two rivers with browns and grayling. On Tuesday I went out fish rising for a change (warm) caught a nice male about 4-5 lb with a nice Kyped jaw on it. Tuesday was a hot day on the river 13 fish 12 trout 1 grayling You guys really would love the small fast canopy rivers of Yorkshire

And have a few waters to fish with that membership,rivers,canals,(ponds-coarse) Yorkshire is huge I live on border of West Yorkshire and Lancashire.Slaithwaite angling club is one you could google up and look 👍🏻

hi both, I'm struggling just now with grayling, on my river the shoals are rising but the only thing I can see is midges so got size 18 grey midge and black gnat and no interest in either, these were fished on 2lb tippet and today makes 3 outings with same result so any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks mike

Hey Zachary, thank you! Yes, wanted a new chest pack because Andy's simms one used to danggle a bit too much if I was bending down to unhooking a fish etc, really happy with this one now though. It stays always flat tight on the body, doesn't move around. And with so many little & big pockets, I can keep stuff organised while the other pack just had one big compartment so everything kept getting mixed up.

I tied elastic to mine and put it on a caribiner clip and attached that to the belt on my waders . I used the elastic from an old jacket waist draw cord 😉
