It was like bass fishing but with fish that fought longer than 2 seconds. I watched that fight around the log like 3 times, nice job putting the irons to that fish.
@@mountainstomarshes8966 I tied an egg fly and used beads under an indicator. They were pretty aggressive toward streamers too. A buddy of mine (who dosen't fly fish) caught a bunch on skein, spinners, and jigs. We would land a few old kings in the mix of all of the coho.
360 Fishing Adventures , we are just spoiled up here in Alaska, simple, I was born in Eugene, grew up fishing winter steelhead, summer steelhead, sprin chinook and fall chinookon my dads drift boat, Kalama, east fork Lewis, umpqua, Alessandro, etc... nothing even close to what it used to be, this was, late 70’s right before mom and I moved up to Alaska. The dams and fish and game messed up Oregon and Washington fishery! Almost all your fish are hatchery! I fish Kodiak, all silvers are wild, Southeast Alaska all steelhead are wild!
We need a Cameron Black special twitching jig like the perfect big that he would use. Maybe one for the guys. Jordan twitch jig Marlin Jig popov jig and the cam jig
I’m starting to get back into salmon fishing and want to try twitching, someone recommended your site. I bought two jigs, now I’m wondering what size pole and line to use. I’ll be fishing for coho in Washington state.
Salmon are running now. Tons of people come from all over the world and fish the river this time of year. I just went up for my first time a few weeks ago but I went on the Lake straight out from the river and went after staging king and Coho.
Addicted Fishing for sure. If you hit the river, guys call it combat fishing. Cuz there’s so many people there at the same time. It’s a good time. I enjoy Ontario. Less crowded. Lol
