@@Astreixx that’s why they lowered the requirements to turboprop pilots with just an Atpl so the equivalent of anybody with a pulse in aviation terms? Nobody wants to work for emirates any more, it’s not a desirable destination these days and hasn’t been for at least a decade. They’re absolutely not getting the best.
It was amazing to watch them work in unison, checking all of the instrument panels, etc. There has to be complete trust and respect between them to operate so flawlessly and professionally. Great video!

I remember a man glimpsing the pre-flight checks going on one time and asking me "Do these guys know how to fly, because they're using a list?" He didn't understand that no responsible pilot would ever leave all that to memory!
When doing a check of, or operating anything that this can apply to {train station crew who tell when the doors are closed and the train is leaving eg.}, 3 systems should always be implemented for added safety and for the least likelihood of human failure. LOOK, POINT and SAY {or use whistle/horn/etc.}.
Pilots are the bus drivers of the air lol but i have the most respect for the job they do and responsibility they have protecting all the lives onboard to get from point A to point B in safe and timely manner hats off to them. The A380 is an incredible A/C i would love to fly in one before they retire them.

@@astakencana976 The reinsert is known as a ‘hard tune’ this way the MCDU (computer) will not self clear it or retune another waypoint after departure.
Don’t work for Emirates, enjoy being a customer and don’t fall to their recruitment marketing trap! Ask me questions and I’ll tell you. I hate “shutting down dreams” of people working for Emirates- especially a pilot or cabin crew because it has an amazing reputation….from the passenger perspective. They have big shiny planes, which is exactly why they want you to work for them and exactly why everyone quits within the first 5 years. Everyone is constantly leaving and getting hired. Work for Ryanair, you’ll get paid more and will be able to fall asleep at night and not at 2.00pm :)
