  • Kanchanaburi Safari Park
    One of the most incredible experiences I have had in Thailand. Feeding Giraffes, zebras and other rescued wildlife was a jaw-dropping experience.
    The Kanchanaburi Safari Park comes highly recommended. I suggest visiting Safari Park during the week if possible. We tried to visit the Kanchanaburi Safari Park on a Sunday and it was beyond busy. So we returned back to the Safari Park Monday morning, and we basically had the place to ourselves!
    Visit Kanchanaburi Safari Park today. Book one of the VIP experiences and enjoy the animals up close and personal.

    Is there a restaurant inside or near the safari park?

    How did you pay? They're asking for a wire transfer when i inquired through Facebook. Is that usually how everyone else pays? Can you buy tickets at the gate?

    • @ItsColtenSloan
      @ItsColtenSloan  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes pay on arrival!! No need to book in advance. I suggest going early though, and weekdays are better.. I can assume the weekends are PACKED!!

    How do you travel to the safari park?
    Form bangkok?

    • @ItsColtenSloan

      Hey! You can travel by car, that would be the best option. Or bus/train to Kanchanaburi.

    May I know how u go to the park? Is far ? 2hour plus?

    • @ItsColtenSloan
      @ItsColtenSloan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It could be far, depending on where you’re coming from? If you’re coming from Bangkok it’s about 2 hours. I would suggest staying in Kanchanaburi for a night or two. Visit the safari park, and the bridge over the river Kwai, maybe even the hell fire pass. Kanchanaburi has lots to offer. 🙂

    • @ItsColtenSloan
      @ItsColtenSloan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey thanks for watching! The prices vary depending on the activity you do, there are a few different ones. But I think it cost about 1000 baht per person. That included the private jeep tour(so worth it with the giraffes and zebras) and than feeding the baby leopards as well.

      @@tikgetahun3132 Yes. Absolutely. I would only recommend going during a week day.
      The weekend is very very busy. But if go Tuesday try to arrive at 9 am when it opens. You should be good.

  • @hansloh7819

    Do you need to pre-book the VIP tour with giraffes???

    • @ItsColtenSloan
      @ItsColtenSloan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope! Not when we we there. But I would suggest. Do not go on a weekend.
      Try to go weekday and be there at 9am when it opens. Than you will have this same experience with many giraffes around your jeep.
      If you go when it’s busy than will not have 4+ giraffes around you.

      @@ItsColtenSloan so there can have multiple VIP tour going on at the same time?

    • @ItsColtenSloan
      @ItsColtenSloan  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@hansloh7819 Yea that is correct. Not a lot - but there are a few. You will still get to experience the giraffes. But early in the morning was nice as we were the first keep inside the enclosure. It was a good experience. Also the bus was cool too when the giraffes stuck their heads inside.

      @@hansloh7819 No we were driving. Doing a road trip so we had a car. But you could probably arrange private transport. Or you can take the train from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi. I’ve heard it’s a beautiful ride. And very cheap.

    I'm an ex-zookeeper at the Safari Park in Kanchanaburi and have lived here in Thailand for many years. We shut down the volunteer program and I quit due to the horrific animal abuse that we witnessed here. Plenty of proof, the place is currently under investigation with Born Free and other organizations. Please don't support places like this in Thailand. It's not ethical and the abuse results in the animals deaths. Please support hands off animal facilities only.

      Lovely video but shame about the location.

    • @ItsColtenSloan
      @ItsColtenSloan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I completely understand. I also live in Thailand, have for 5 years. I’ve heard some stories after visiting. But Thais will continue to visit the place as well as some other foreign tourists, until it’s closed down.
      Maybe one day it will, but that’s not too likely to happen anytime soon I can think. ❤️🙏🏼
