Like I said after the first MX race of the year Jett is poetry in motion on a 450.. He has written a whole new chapter on how to race a 450..He never muscles the bike he lets it flow.!! I have followed MX since the 70s and he has changed the sport in technic..!
The 250 class is a whole defrent animal. You can not afford one little mistake or a bad start..It is the deepest 250 class in history. When these guys get to the 450s it is going to be spectacular!

Jett was playing with Sexton the whole time.... change my mind. He slowed down looked back and said watch this. I do not agree the series is getting better. There is literally nobody that is healthy besides Jett and privateers that I don't care to watch. Literally the whole field is out after this weekend. Sick of everyone acting like the privateers are doing something with the whole field gone. 20 to 60 seconds from 1 to 2 to 3rd place. Our only hope is Sexton and he finally took Stews advice and tucked the front... more then once.

Name 3 people, not including tomac, who can challenge Jett or Sexton... don't worry, I'll wait.
Jett has beat 5 450 champions this year... Sexton, Dylan, Kenny (2x 450MX champ), Webb, Anderson...Thats not including guys who won 250 titles. Other than Tomac, there's literally no one that can challenge for wins, or second place. And only Barcia and Craig could challenge for a podium, and for Craig that's on a good day, otherwise he's a 5th place guy.
Compared to the 3 previous undefeated seasons, this is by far the deepest and with that many champions in the class and the guy who challenged Tomac for the title until the last moto, Jett shouldn't be doing what he's doing in this Era.

You say that like it wasn't 30 seconds from Eli and Chase to everyone else last year... Not to mention that Masterpool is trading blows with factory guys, and would be regardless of who was healthy. Eli is literally the only rider who would make the 450 series any different, nobody else who's out has anything for Jett.

@@alondite215 I don't agree. Anderson if healthy and your forgetting Barcia totally. We all know Dylan can run the pace. The point I'm making all the guys that are gone are more good bodies you have to go thru on the start or come thru if you don't get a start. Masterpool would not finish the same if everyone was back and healthy. Jett has been seen twice by sexton where as you could say he ever got close to pushing Jett. Eli and Sexton last year where pushing each other to go that fast. Jett is just casually riding beating everyone by 20 seconds. Yeah hes fast but half the factory guys left just don't care or are injured.

None of those guys you mentioned are 100 percent they are far from it. Your missing the point, when your racing you have to go thru people having less skilled bodies to go thru does make a difference. Nobody that is racing Jett his year is 100 percent even Sexton. We have seen Adam run the pace but again hes hurt. You wanna deny the field is washed for your boy Jett and make it seem like he's doing something then be my guest.

The people criticizing the choice of the scoop obviously have not rode or tested it! If they did, they wouldn't be. That tire is unbelievable in hard pack it does have some troubles when loading the side nobs.
I've used it in all conditions a lot in trails and even this weekend at the .northeast 24 hr challenge! riders with gummy tires were sliding out spinning out going up hard slippery root coverd steep up hills and I never had an issue! Even on log crossings the traction makes it so much easier to lift front wheel makes log crossings so much easier. So all the people questioning the choice of the scoop on the moto track should be questioning those not using scoop. I'd use on every moto track. My bike feels 15 % faster with that tire

Hunter had to work so hard for every pass in moto 1! He lost every drag race. I wonder if HRC have de tuned his bike after that engine failure. The way Jett rides, he's a lot better when the track is at it's worst... Sexton in moto 2 made up no time, he want from 11 seconds to 17. If Jett can win the first motos, I don't think there's any beating him in the second just because of these little things he does around the whole track.. his riding is so much different, but so is the way he reads the track.

There really should be a rider and bike weight rule ... i think it would tighten up racing a bit , I believe its why joe and some of the smaller guys are where they are in the race ...lighter riders would still have an advantage because having to add more weight to make the weight, they could add it where they want for setup ..... even on the 450s i think it would make a difference a handful of those guys can use all the 450 has .... how close sexton and jett are I'm sure 20lbs difference is relevant

And if bodyweight really IS such a huge thing, why aren't 110lbs (total weight) horse jockeys dominating the sport?... lol

And as we've ALL seen short guys can't easily even touch the ground in the starting gate area, because of the stupidly high seat heights (lower would lead to better handling bikes)

I mean both classes have at least 3 or 4 not from USA riders in the top 10 and if you go top 25 you would really be surprised there are more in the top 25 than I expected. The top spot is Australians both classes......I mean they are spanking us it ain't even close when they are on the bike healthy. I guess some of y'all are watching some other races. Maybe local races or something. Usa is gonna get WHOMPED at the Des Nations because we stopped caring and sending meh riders who desire to phone it in. Still like your stuff Johnny but don't kid yourself, the stage is more international now than ever before.

But jett is australian and not american. Just wanted to state that before watching. Him riding the amas doesn't make america number one in any kind of way

I think he means the AMA MX series itself, compared to MXGP as a series.
