I used to pull a lot of holeshots. Right now, I don't see anyone catching up to Danger's progression. He's gaining practically every race since 2023. If he rips TX like he just did Charlotte, then pretty much consider the current 250 pack to be battling for 2nd till Summer 2026. As for who will be battling for 2nd & 3rd? I think Levi Ktichen and Julien Beaumer will rise above the current 250 pack except Danger. And Drew Adams by 2025. As for 450... Tomac got a sniff... regardless of 1.5hr motos back home, winning against Jett will take risk for the reward. Tomac backed off that quad late 2nd moto... and Jett was balls out scrubin like The Real J$7! And that got the job done. Chase has the most to prove to himself, let alone us. I'm about as confident he'll win a few motos as he is in himself? 3rd best ain't so bad. It's not his talent, and it's definitely not his bike... Every time he says it's the bike, it's his mindset. I think he should have already called David Goggins last yr. Tomac needs to get over the age factor... i.e., John Dowd pulled that 250 Southwick 3rd at 47. Tomac at 31 ain't shit with modern training, health/nutrition, etc... For Tomac, it's his mindset as well. He needs to take risks to get the reward of winning against Jett... Tomac & Sexton both have talent and fitness and equipment to go bar to bar with Jett. Danger knows he does and already believes right now that when he steps up Summer 2026, that he's going to be prepared on every level to shut Jett down and take over the moto record books. Rd 2 Smx 2024... Whose got the mindset to win??? You can guarantee Tomac was pissed he let moto 2 slip.
I bet Eli will be even better this week , an even better the last weekend in Vegas. I will bet Eli wins this because the racing gods will help him , they took a championship away from him with a fluke injury ( the Achilles) so after all his hard work to get back to here, I bet he will BEAT JETTS ON HEADS UP THE NEXT 2 WEEKENDS, Eli studies also , and once he learns he was faster than Jett the hole lap times Except just the sand section. Eli will be change his riding a little to be better in the little areas , like the sand and the corners , Eli will win the Racing GODS WILL SEND HIM into a goat status , for what he's done for this sport.
