Slide whole city forward to edge and build a tall backdrop against wall. Can add tunnel with bit of depth and maybe layer so it appears city keeps going. Or mountain like Mr brickiboo does. Think how movies paint back of film stage to add depth.
I would suggest you should ad bricks on their side on the road so you can add lines on the road and makes the road bigger, which adds biger details. Hope that helps
Looking great! Cut baseplates if it’s what you want, it’s your city. I agree some water right there might look sweet. Also I think the rebrickable university would match your sidewalk color palette really well
I love the sidewalk design! A nice departure from standard light bluish gray tile sidewalks. I think incorporating a similar color palette in some other places in the city would help it blend in with the overall city better. Looking great!
That is a very unique sidewalk design. Not my favorite, however it does make your Lego City stand out from so many others on TH-cam. I am interested to see how your city evolves.
Thank you! I wanted to try something different than grey! Someone here in the comments suggested to district the sidewalks which could be a cool way to break it up. Excited that you are tagging along on the journey!
Interesting sidewalk design... It looks a bit too crowded/messy in my opinion to have that same design repeating all over your city. Maybe you can use light/dark gray sidewalks for the outside roads and keep your sidewalk design specifically for the main street (with the tram) for an old town look.
Hmmmmm! I do like this idea! I’ll definitely have to think about that! I could do it on the street with the tram so it won’t be as many of those pieces. Especially cause I just bought a ton of the pieces for the current design! Thank you for the idea! 💡

That is a great idea! Especially if I add a raised platform it can be cool to have it cover the back wall! Thank you for the inspiration!
Exactly what I came here to comment on!
University for sure bro!!! I love what you have done with your sidewalks!!

Definitely a good suggestion! I think Bricksie does that to expand his roads!
I like the browns and tans on the sidewalk, its a nice break from the regular plain jane light blue grey that always gets used.
Thank you! That was definitely the goal when I went with the design. I think it gives a different personality to the city 😊

YES! That’s what I was thinking too!

I vote for the rebrickable build. It’ll look great in your city!
Vote recorded! Thank you 🙏
An idea would be to put water on the white table. like a promenade? Looks fire🔥
Hmmmmm! That is definitely something to consider! 👀

Cool update. I'm enjoying the work you are doing on your city. I'm struggling with a train plan also. The struggle is real. :)
Thank you so much! You can never have enough space when it comes to Lego 😂😂😂
Another vote for adding some water to the end!

Just make a water steam on the extra white part table
