  • I break down clearly the difference between stick involvement and stick discipline. We look at stick angle when executing stick saves, how to manage stick saves with solid rebound control on shots directly at the middle of your body flat in the ice. We also address where on the glass your pucks should land and whether you should use a “3-iron” stick angle or a “9-iron” stick angle. Monday as per usual on our TH-cam Channel. Are you going to be the 10,000th subscriber and get an amazing prize?
AND a huge BONUS for all Goaltenders! My great friend Kris Rogers poured hours into EVERY video I have done for TH-cam and created a living/ breathing document that is the Future Pro Index. You can search by topic and get direct links to the video that covers your problem or issue? Having trouble with your positioning? Grab the organized links from our Index and you’ll be set. Struggling with the mental game? Grab the organized links from our Index and you’ll be set. And the awesome news is Kris will be updating and editing the Master Index for you as new videos drop every week.

A goalie is still a hockey player. A hockey player's primary tool is their stick.

Hi Keeks. What are your thoughts on Leafs goaltending struggles? The defence, obviously, hasn't been any good this season (giveaways, breakaways, allowing traffic in the crease) but Soup and Mrazek clearly have some problems of their own resulting in bad rebounds, often poor positioning etc. Could it have something to do with goalie coaching in the organisation? Look at Freddy Andersen flourishing in Canes after Leafs gave up on him. There's also this unbelievable pressure all around Toronto which never helped anyone and toxic fanbase that we have. Or this is just a resultant of all this things...?
