I definitely like the design of the statues and actually like the CE version better than the Regalla as the painting has too much going on. You’ll basically be paying around $100 for the CE statue and around $150 for the Regalla version. Not to bad imo as they seem to be made of plastic. I’m passing as I like buying resin statues but I think these are reasonably priced.
Collectors was about $223 for me... Mine comes on tuesday not sure if I should keep it though to be honest it doesn't look all that impressive to me... I might see if I can trade it for a Resident evil Collectors.
Received my CE yesterday and in my opinion it's definitely worth it considering that i paid 50-100 € for good collection figure's in the past (for example Witcher or One Piece). This one is really huge, heavy and it looks awesome. The quality is amazing.

Update: I got my two box sets. I tried to put the collector version figure back in the box (still in plastic) it just tore right through the paper. It was a very stupid idea to put the empty case on the bottom when it would be easier to put it on top for easy access. So, I just punch the damn box.

@@GeekCulture I know that it is common for PC but not for consoles. I think the problem was the digital PS5 (they did not want to exclude these). So we are getting a steelbook for a nonexistent disc which does not make any sense. RDR2 had the right approach. Maybe wrong pricing. Put out collectors without disc and steelbook for 130€ and let the people buy the games the fashion they want (in my concern physical special edition with steel book). Also I don’t really know if the figurine is worth the price. How does it compare to the old edition of zero dawn from quality perspective
@@s.k.6823 Like it or not, we have seen this becoming more prevalent on the console front, which makes sense since they want less reselling. As for the pieces, they definitely feel more premium compared to the HZD CE statue of Aloy.

its annoying i can get maybe not having the lights but not being poseable for the £169.99 you pay depending on what currency you use for that amount it should be poseable to me you get very little for the amount you pay still getting CE though.
Just got mine and it looks amazing but the assembly process and design of the cutouts for inserting parts is terrible. Just about got it to fit together and hooefully it stays like that.
I really thought I remember reading both statues had LED's and were posable, so I'm disappointed that only the regalla edition has those. Still looks awesome either way.

@@nightxxowl1215 They are about the same size, so no they arent correctly proportioned since the thunderjaw is a bigger creature than the tremortusk. They still look really cool next to each other you wont even notice that little detail

I've bought both and can't decide which one I will keep, the statue in Regalla has too much "information" on it and about the colors I'd prefer the white/gray painting of the Collector's, but I think Regalla edition is still epic. I like two steelbook's details too, if you take a close look you will see that the sensor and robot's eye are illustrated :) Nice work!

I agree the CE does look better than the Regalla. I ordered both editions from 2 different stores to make a final decision by release date. Still on the fence on which. Tho i am leaning more towards the CE. Regalla Tremortusk looks kiddish, cartoony and colors take away from the menacing pose. Also the extra 80bucks is alot. The extra items i dont care for.....for god-sakes there is no physical disk but a bloody metal case😂.

@@RobinBlueNose17 so I had a problem with the right upper tusk and not the left upon close inspection where the 2 upper tusks connect there a piece of plastic inside it on my one there was excess plastic that I had to dislodge after that they went in fine may not be what your issue is but it's worth looking at

I am getting the collectors edition for ps5 looking forward to the statue though now seeing it for how much we pay £169.99 they could have made the collectors edition statue posable with the moving parts and or maybe added the canvas map i don't think you get is worth that price. I saw a video of all horizon statues next to each other. The HFW figures are a little bit bigger than the previous ones but it looks really cool altogether. It also make sense since a mammoth is supposed to be a bigger creature
@@davidraquepas2344 yeah i believe i read that the new figures are around 40cm wide/tall (one of the two, can‘t remember). That said the packaging might be a bit taller/wider aswell, so would depend on if it looks weird or not when standing next to each other. Not sure if i‘m really interested in the new Statues or not, really loved the Collector‘s Edition Statue of HZD as i love Aloy and the detail she had. Now she only has a small figure (which is understandable when thinking about the size and the focus being on the machine and not Aloy herself), but i think i would mainly want the packaging they come in as the Design is really beautiful and actually displayable.

As nice as this is, it suffers from being a mass produced model. The paint techniques used are quick and simplified. A custom re-paint can take the time to do it properly and to a level they just can’t hit for a £100 retail cost (minus the cost of the game). So it will be this but tight. (Plus any details I spot from the game itself.

The Regalla figure looks really cool, but my question is, if the battery dies, how do you change it without damaging the figure?
The batteries are changeable. All you need is a screwdriver to open up the panel.

Collector's Editions are bought by people who want physical items, why on earth they put s digital download is beyond me. Easy pass in my case.

I am getting the collectors edition for ps5 looking forward to the statue though now seeing it for how much we pay £169.99 they could have made the collectors edition statue posable with the moving parts and or maybe added the canvas map i don't think you get is worth that price.
Though i do still like the collectors statue better the other looks to busy.

Quick question; I have the Collector‘s Edition from HZD and am looking into the one’s from HFW. Is there a possibility to get the size/measurements of the new boxes/package? Would want to have the 3 standing next to each other, but if there are huge differences in size, it might look bad (HZD-Box is 255/255/340 mm).

I saw a video of all horizon statues next to each other. The HFW figures are a little bit bigger than the previous ones but it looks really cool altogether. It also make sense since a mammoth is supposed to be a bigger creature
@@davidraquepas2344 yeah i believe i read that the new figures are around 40cm wide/tall (one of the two, can‘t remember). That said the packaging might be a bit taller/wider aswell, so would depend on if it looks weird or not when standing next to each other. Not sure if i‘m really interested in the new Statues or not, really loved the Collector‘s Edition Statue of HZD as i love Aloy and the detail she had. Now she only has a small figure (which is understandable when thinking about the size and the focus being on the machine and not Aloy herself), but i think i would mainly want the packaging they come in as the Design is really beautiful and actually displayable.

As nice as this is, it suffers from being a mass produced model. The paint techniques used are quick and simplified. A custom re-paint can take the time to do it properly and to a level they just can’t hit for a £100 retail cost (minus the cost of the game). So it will be this but tight. (Plus any details I spot from the game itself.

@@PlatinumReviews123 theres no way they gonna put two Codes in it. It's just one for the game, another for the dlc. After redeeming, you can choose witch System you want.

The height is around 30-32cm in height, and 40cm wide.

The box is kinda huge tbh but the weight isnt that bad, its plastic
