Jose Mourinho was sacked as Chelsea manager following a 2-1 defeat to Leicester in December 2015. The defeat left the reigning Premier League champions in 16th place having only picked up 15 points in 16 games.

im a chelsea fans n i rlly love him at chelsea. In his final days at chelsea were pretty bad. With Hazard injury n weight problem caused most of the team performance. I think that’s the first time chelsea could not rely on hazard after he mostly on form seasons before that. We got lucky tht willian was there n save our ass every match. Very disappointed on how most player treated Mourinho that times

@Marcos G Man U did sabotage Mourinho. The board and Ed Woodward have no ambition other than top 4 so they didn’t bother invested in the squad in his final season just after Mourinho finished 2nd - the highest finish and points tally since ferguson with arguably a worser squad than what Ole has atm. He also won 2 trophies with said squad, and the board decided they didn’t want to close the gap to Man City in the way Liverpool did with investing in improving areas in the squad that needed strengthening. With Real Madrid, he got them back to a winning mentality. They hadn’t won the league in 4 seasons until Mourinho won it with them in 2012 and they hadn’t even got past the 2nd round of the champions league in the last 6 seasons, even with the galacticos pre CR7 and then with CR7 in 2009/10 until Mourinho. He was a penalty shootout away from another champions league final in 2012 which he probably would have won vs Chelsea if he’d got there which would have made it 3 champions leagues with 3 different clubs in 3 different countries. The core of the Real Madrid squad that won 4 champions leagues in 5 seasons was Mourinho‘s barring Carvahal and Bale

@@tombardsley3081 Liverpool did strengthen but ManUtd's net spend over the last few seasons especially during Mourinho days habe been 3-4 times that of Liverpool. It's just few millions short of Man City.

I feel that for the First time since winning that champions league with porto Jose took a job in which he is underdog. Anywhere he went followed him emormous pressure of past achivments, made even harder becouse of his "ego", which media always tryed to take an advantige of. Im Liverpool fan first, but im so invested in Totenham right now and I belive their story is just beginning.

I'm a Tottenham fan studying up on the goat. What it seems like to me is once José starts saying things that are actually true (rather than playing mind games and making jokes), you know both your team and José are in a bad spot.

Chelsea players lacked the killer edge of the 2004-2007 team that was coached by mou. Fabregas was getting older, Costa was gaining a lot of weight, hazard has proven time and again that when the going gets tough, he floos as he is now at rm. Terry and Ivanovic were getting older, absolute carnage for mou, how was he supposed to manage this?

As someone who loves José Mourinho the downfall of his third season in his second return was falling out with the team doctor because that overall affected the relationship with everyone. It only started to get worse and go downhill from there the players truly did betray him
As a Chelsea fan I know what Jose did was uncalled for but the way the players betrayed him was not acceptable
