man, this felt so much faster then most of the 800+hp cars lately
because of consistency in corners and over the lap after all ... nice drive and no yellows ... that also gave a faster feel of the lap.

@@metasaurus3233 my theory is still that he had it tuned for E85 in Kuwait and then came to Germany and filled it up with E10 and basically ended up with less than stock power because the map was not made for it. Would not surprise me

@@user-bz3lp9vy2lit is Quattro, it's just a brand name used by Audi for any of their all wheel drive cars. Just because people get snobbish about Torsen diffs doesnt make them right. If Audi brands S1/S3/rs3 as quattro then it is quattro.

I wouldn't say the fastest in the world, there is a dsg converted 580bhp S1 here in the UK, but man even 400bhp with the dsg box will shock many high performance cars! I wish I had the spare cash to dump a dsg box in my S1 😂 respect to the owner for the build!

I could see how you gained confidence in this car after only a couple of corners, then you were driving it as if if you have been driving it for years already. Really impressive car despite the squeaks and scraping noises, I must say. A track weapon!

I bought an Audi s1 when they first came out and it was single handedly the most fun I ever had with a car. Power was accessible always and forever put a smile on my face. This thing must be an absolute weapon with 400bhp. Great driving as always Mischa.

Lovely that you give the guy two and a half seconds to think about whether he wants the car in the carousel or not :D U should have the question in a short quiz that u ask everyone through before the lap. The quiz would also include abs and redline questions :D

Audi wasn’t able to make the DQ500 box fit, which is the only box that can handle the torque. They didn’t say it couldn’t be DSG, just the engineers knew they couldn’t do it with the box it needed. This is almost certainly the smaller DQ250 box which isn’t going to last very long with the power of the engine.

Bro, nice build.. This thing rips, and being low boost, im sure it really pulls when she is wicked up for drag racing.. And pulling 220 thru the uphill section around the bend before braking for the left at the top of the hill is up there with some serious cars..

The way it picked up speed throughout the lap is amazing! The fact the temps were in check or no codes were given shows it can be done.

I've never been a huge S1/A1 fan because we never got them in the US and they're not my favorite looking car. But man this thing looks so composed on track with great power delivery, DSG really suits the car.

I had that car tuned the same way I mean 400hp, but I didn't swap the gearbox, so I had a manual, but still, it was a crazy little car anyway.
Jerko swapped many Golf Rs with 2.5 Audi engine, probably one of top 3 VAG tuners in Europe 😄
