There is a setting to not to auto shut off. I believe you set that in the camera. I decided not not put it in the helmet. I think I will wear it on my shift or something with the Lav mike. I wanted to be able to lift up my visor. I also raised the camera up a little on the helmet so I can see the screen for when the mike kicks in.
That was one of the first changes I made after this ride. I usually look in the mirror to see that the mic is connected. In another comment you made, or maybe it was on Instagram you mentioned Velcro, and I might explore something with that, we'll see. Thanks for watching Jerry. 🤙🍻
Growing pains. I’ve seen some larger channels have a complete meltdown with reconnecting the mic. I run boom mics in my modular helmet. You could try that
I think I found the trick. I just have to open the ‘wireless mic’ settings on the Action4 and then it pairs right away. I still want to try some recording with the Cardo, just haven’t messed with it much. Thanks for watching. 🤙🍺
