before some Stan’s attack me here’s what I meant by “comparing” giselles case to jennie. For years we didn’t know bout Jennie’s injury, I heard people saying giselle was injured (?) but I didn’t mean that their situation is similar but the response from public. If it comes to yeri it’s like 1:1 yeri made mistakes in choreo and was cursed by knetz who were demanding her to leave
“Why does everybody hate Giselle” because little kids nowadays are bored af and try hard in hating people just to make themselves feel better and superior. It’s so cringe what Kpop stans have become
@@JayZinger As I know most people hate her because she trained for a very short time before debuting, but didn’t present a convincing ability in dancing rapping or singing. I am not a fan or hater, I just watched a few times aespa’s performance on youtube. Recently I know it from social media that she failed the same collaboration stage with other idols three times with the same mistakes
@@JayZinger You should know that she was not the only girl do collaborate with male idols. Girl’s generation, red velvets, fx…., you can check their every single performance, and you will know be the only girl in the performance is not an excuse for mistake but a chance to shine
I don't stan Aespa and I don't like Giselle, but to say she's ugly is insane to me 😂 they're all pretty, but tbh i find her to be the 2nd prettiest in the group (the prettiest being ningning)
Keep the same energy with NCT Jaehyun who also lip synced the n word, Hwasa and BTS members (said it multiple times and never directly apologized for it) there's like dozens of idols who have said the n word who also speak English or grew up overseas but why do I only see this hateful energy towards Giselle who actually apologized for it???
Stop the cap people dragged jaehyun to the point he barley talk anymore and just because they apologized doesn’t mean BLACK STANS accept it. Why do non black people always think they can tell BLACK kpop Stans how to feel.
@@RD-ew2hx it's not just a word tho? do you not understand the impact that word has had on my people? Why would you want to rub in the fact that you are privileged enough to not be negatively impacted by the legacy of racial oppression that these words helped create?
kpop stans never actully care about racial and ca lmao💀 they just use that as gotcha moment to drag another group which is not their favs💀 if they really do care about all the ”issues” then giselle wont be the only idol to get this much hates... there are literally a bunch of kpop idols with racial issues and doing ca💀 they can forgive another idols saying that they already reflect themselves but when its giselle?even when she already apologized and not repeated it again💀 they literally treating her like she is the cause of all the problems in their life💀 they always insert her ”mistakes” in everything she does even when she shows us her kindess, they will still saying ”but we still cant forget what she did before”💀 and i know how much aespa is being hated by kpop stans... even since their pre-debut era till date... kpop stans literally keeping their nose in every content realted to aespa, stay tunned to watch their performance and another contents only to find the girlies litlest ”mistakes” and twisted their words💀 if you use twitter you will understand what i mean... there are literally hit hate tweets about aespa every single day...💀 and i notice it too, when its comes about aespa every type of rumors are always so fast get blown up... medias will be so fast to make the articles💀 but when we pointed out that another idols also doing same, so suddenly kpop stans becoming blind and deaf💀
nah cause people always use “holding someone accountable” to justify their hate and that’s just wrong. By hating her you’re just becoming as problematic as her
Im leaving the racial stuff she did aside because i feel like i have no place to talk about it; But it’s just sad seeing people hate her for literally every single thing she does, like what..? and also, suggesting that she needs to leave the group for just mistakes she did in *recent* choreography, but when their idol does a mistake, they say "its okay, is just a mistake!" "you’ll do better in the next stage ☺️" I literally can’t with these people-
I still like Giselle but that’s my business, I don’t judge others for being ot3 as long as they just leave Giselle alone and don’t rag on her. Indian and Black MYs have the right to feel however they want to feel and if they don’t want to support Giselle I won’t hold it against them. I just wish people would leave it at that and stop attacking her, I know y’all hate when people bring up sexism but I’ve seen male idols do worse and not get half the hate Giselle gets. Giselle isn’t dumb but at humans we can make mistakes and be ignorant. Giselle definitely should watch herself and her actions but to say she should be kicked out is too far. Giselle is apart of Aespa and without her the group would be incomplete.
She’s gonna forever be held accountable and that just the facts….. I don’t “HATE” her but I still am not FOND of her and how problematic she’s already been … 2 racial scandals already and now y’all switching up and feel bad because y’all think we are just “attacking her”…. Oh well ….. cry me a River ? Y’all only care when it’s Asians tho right? Wait lemme fix my comment “East Asian Idols” Anyways Chile-
@@chatnoir-i8x I respect your statement on how Giselle should always be held accountable (been seeing ur comments everywhere) uh so yes it’s understandable to the communities affected by her actions to keep speaking up but the op most likely meant “stop attacking her” as in just plain haters who are non black or non Indian that just wants her to go down. And yea it’s fine if anyone affected “hates” her but threatening or online bullying is never ok. And let’s not generalize Asians- we have all the rights to feel the need to speak up when we’re discriminated too, every single community and race does. So don’t think we’re trying to protect her actions and shush everything just cause she’s Asian or an idol, let’s all respect each other…
@@crazy-xs2zk no no no cus y’all do that tho… for example people have done the same to BTS and KPOP stans go crazy but when it’s a KPOP idol doing it to black ppl and we react it’s “we are doing too much” or “it’s not that serious” … I’m talking about how y’all don’t keep the same energy
@@chatnoir-i8x oh I’m sorry to hear that, sometimes twt stans go too far when it’s abt their faves. No one’s feelings and opinions should be invalidated. “giselle seems nervous” yeah i mean i would be too after all of the criticisms that she got from the public, she was so brave to perform and im sure she did her best❤️
Truly SME is always after Money 💵 🤑 they debuted the girls in Coachella so early like WTFFFF even Beyonce spend decades or years of her life to able to perform confidently in big stages and crowd like Coachella
To be safe I am black as well All this hate can really hurt someone’s mental and physical health and sleep patterns especially if it’s the entire world in your head, i think Giselle knows the mistakes she’s done, she knew what the outcome would look like when she made her mistake, I hope she’s doing okay with all this added hate on her back everyday, People have their opinions and they’re standards and if that mistake was offensive than yeah it will take time before they can just give forgiveness and acceptance, but for everything else about her dancing is unnecessary and just adds on and on How would you feel if you were in her position and always haven’t negativity on your back That’s all, please don’t kill me under this comment
As a black person, i hear you. Although if I’m honest if giselles apology was more “direct” for lack of a better word i think people would’ve been more lenient and potentially forgave her, but i think because her apology came off as sort of “dismissive” people were only more enraged. The whole dance scandal tho is unnecessary
As a Latina I can’t say anything about the 1st mistake and for the 2nd … I mean I don’t even know what desi dance is .. I literally had to google it. Is it common in Korea to have Indian immigrants ?? / I feel like she probably had no glue what it was. 😵💫😵💫
I’m Japanese & even I know it’s unacceptable for her to say that. My ex bf is blk & I know not to say it even though he says it. Idc if it’s just a song, I’m good. U get alot of backlash over the word.
This is gonna be a really long rant, sorry my bad English in advance. For me all that hate train on her is simply stupid at this point. Because, many idols said the n word before [Jaehyun] and even mocked black accent [Mark and Johnny] for example, and never posted a apologize. But, I don't see K-pop stans "holding them accountable" for their shit. She apologized on the same day that it happened. Didn't make any excuses, and admitted that she was wrong end held herself accountable for the shit she said. After that you can see that she really is trying to do better. But, some people are still hating on her for no damn reason at all. I don't even see Wendy receive the amount of hate that Giselle get, even when she did worst [not that Wendy deserve hate, it's just a comparison]. It's just pure hypocrisy at this point. And about her dance, I dance too and sometimes it takes me a longer time do get some choreography done than others, I'm not the best dancer out there but still, that's totally fine! People have different paces when learning something new, that's what's makes us so different. Dance have different styles and movements, it doesn't have a norm on what's good or not. She can still be a good performer without needing it in the first place. If you disagree with me is totally fine, not everyone have the same option.
@@chile-yr2jy My point it's: there's a CLEAR double standard with Aespa and Giselle happening, the girl literally breath and people are going to be shitting on her. Like, how many people you see saying stuff about Jaehyun because of what he said? Or how many daily virals of hate abou Mark for absolutely no reason? People only bring them when stupid fanwars happen, but not because a already marginalized group of people got hurt by it, no. They only say it to prove that their fav is "better" than the others. Kpoppers don't really give a shit about poc people feelings. They only say something when is absolutely convenient for them.
TBH I feel like, no disrespect to the TH-camr, that this video will only make things worse. From the comments section, people are fighting with words. Come on guys, she is human. We all make mistakes. Maybe she wanted to make more apologies? maybe SM did not allow her? Maybe she will see or hear about this video and then what? It will only make her feel worse. News outlets and other TH-camrs will source info from this video and comments section to bash her. Have we all forgotten what happened to Kpop idols who went through this hate too? Some even committed suicide! Because it took a toll on their mental health. Maybe even videos like these are what also pushed them to take their own lives. Why can't we just acknowledge we are not all saints? Even the pope himself. Do you want to tell me everyone in this comment section did not make a mistake today, yesterday, this week, last week, or last month, and apologized or even didn't? Come on guys just stop.
I don’t see people hating on here, they just either can’t vibe with her or they are upset with her. They only thing they can do is wait and see how she grows.
About the n word issue it was wrong about her mouthing to it but at least she apologized to her actions. For the desi dance issue I am desi and I don't see a problem with it personally- though this doesn't give the right for people to start hating her and ask her to be removed from the group. A lot of idols have done this to blackpink, ive, twice and I only see giselle getting hate for it. Also just a fact that coming from an international school doesn't teach you the entire world culture though since she is fluent in english she was supposed to know about the n word (maybe not depends on what her school taught her)
that was a shitty apology and we all know it. she didn’t really even apologize to the community she offended. and because of fans like you she won’t ever feel like she’s done anything wrong. Kpop stans are a joke at this point
Just because you're desi and don't see any problem with what she did, doesn't mean other desi people won't? Blackpink has actually gotten hate for doing this. Jennie recently wore conrows and blink were attacking black people that found what she did bad. I don't think Giselle to be kicked out of the group. She brings something to the group at least
How is it Giselle's fault those female SM rookies didn't debut? There was nothing stopping SM from debuting Aespa as a larger group. Blame SM not Giselle!!!
Come on, be serious. That poor girl must be extrmely afraid of being on stage Knowing almoust the whole industry don't like her, that's the reason she kept Messing up the choreo. I feel bad for her.
If you follow Giselle at all you realize how much she cares about western english speaking fans. I'm sure she was crushed and she asked to write the apology on Twitter and she composed it herself. Most idols ignore i-fans or just release apology statements as damage control Giselle accepted responsibility.
if she cares about the western fan base , then why say the nword? she been around people before and know the nword is a bad word to say IN ANY SCENARIO if you are not black , it’s not like she been living under a rock before training and during to be that out of touch. yes, cheers to her for apologizing but if she had common sense and thought about those western fans then all of this would not have happened

Personally I don't like Aespa and I don't like Giselle....And being an Indian, I dislike her the most because that head bopping is clearly done before by many celebrities to mock our cultural dance called Bharathanatyam and she clearly laughed after doing that.... But Hate is a strong feeling, I don't hate her because I don't want to waste my time on hating a mere KPOP IDOL but she should definitely educate herself more....
Although mouthing the n word is wrong, I still don’t think such a minor action is enough to kick her from the group. She’s human, everyone makes mistakes. It’s not like this is a reoccurring instance. It happened once, she acknowledged it was wrong, and apologized for it. I’m not really much of an Aespa fan but I still think it’s dumb to demand Giselle to be kicked from the group for a minor slip up.

@@Shxdxe I also think she shouldn’t be kicked out but for me who is affected by that word since a young age it’s a big deal to me even if she just mouthed so I just wanted to point out that it had a bigger impact on some people then you think
Can I be honest? People need to calm down. Even the N word scandal wasn’t that deep. Like bro she didn’t say it in a derogatory way like calling someone the N word, she just lip synced it to a song. Like I’m sure you all do this but aren’t being recorded 24/7 so people can’t blast you like she is. She toom accountability which one of thew few instances I’ve ever seen by a Kpop idol. She can’t dance well? Big whoop, her main strength is rap. You can give healthy criticism but not hate her for something that is not your best skill. I think what bothers me the most is these people who are probably losers who can’t do even the same things they’re pointing out is attacking someone just because they’re a public figure? Like i bet yall don’t keep the same energy towards artist in the west. Kpop is so toxic I can’t. Yall crying about how you wish the industry would let these idols have good mental health and protect them are the same people destroying their confidence and bullying the to the point of extreme anxiety and self hate. Can people just be mature adults and leave people you don’t like alone? Why are yall so pressed over someone you dislike?
I don't care for Giselle nor Asepa nor kpop in general. But everybody and their mother Karen all lip sync the n bomb with their noble asses. Ppl need to quit trying to act so woke smh
When the n-word thing happened it hurt me and I stopped liking her I used to be a big fan of her actually I don’t think she deserves hate and this horrible treatment but I get why people don’t like her…
Same … I literally claim OT3 rn cus I’m tired … I really am but she’s on standby with me … but idk and people are acting like because she apologized it’s okay… let’s not do that first of all it took her a while to apologize and second she knew what she was saying it wasn’t an “accident”…. With Korean idols it’s always an “accident” ….
I’m a black KPOP stan … I’m tired of dealing with black related racial scandals everywhere and the people who do it anywhere and I always keep the same energy. However, I will always speak up about it…. I am also one of those people who finds Giselle really problematic and for me at least she is still on standby… I feel like people in the KPOP community hold stuff over other stuff and switch up so fast. People in the KPOP community would rather a KPOP idol have a racial scandal towards other ethnic groups like Indian people or black people and GASLIGHT TF OUT OF US but as soon as it’s the other way around and someone says something about an idol being Asian or using an Asian slur it’s “cancel that person” and they do this ALL THE TIME ! So why should I care ? …. EXACTLY…. idk wtf you other KPOP stans be on but y’all be so two-faced and that’s why I don’t care will never care about what y’all saying. I will continue calling out problematic idols and I do it MORE now cus why not? Y’all don’t even care about black kpop stans enough to know how we ALWAYS express how serious we are when non-black ppl mouth or say the n word and even doing cultural app…we gonna call them out regardless. Every black person not the same but that don’t mean some of us still ain’t gonna hold an idol accountable. Also if you’re not black in the comments please stop talking on black issues as your opinion is really INVALID and not important … thank u
The thing is if one more idol says the n word this year watch the fans say “ they didn’t know what the n word means “ it has been ten years since idols and Korean actors have been saying the n word, they should already know what the n word is by now.
Giselle only got one year of training. If you want to say she should've trained longer that's a fair criticism. If you want to say her dancing isnt good that's a fair criticism. Saying she only became a Aespa member because of nepotism or somehow tying her dancing to her mouthing the N word is just crossing the line into hate comment not real criticism.
B*tch boy, she didn't have much time to train and prepare for their debut. I do not think EVERYONE hates her, but not everyone LIKES Giselle, and I do think she's talented and she's obviously beautiful, but she is still green in some ways. Like with stage presence and her singing voice not being fully flushed out yet DUE TO only having 10 months of training. She was training in dance and taking vocal lessons for a year before those 10 months as well, so almost 2 years of training fully is still not a lot of training at all. Red Velvet Seulgi and Irene trained for almost 6 years before they ever debuted.
OMG really!!!! She appreciated our culture. Look what she did is exactly how we do it, everytime a song comes on. And the dance she did looked so good. I love her for stereotyping our cultural dance. It makes us feel validated. Love her.❤️❤️
Giselle only MOUTHED it and she even apologized. Many idols have actually said it and didn’t even apologize even though they speak English. Those other idols didn’t even get a single hare word for it. Unbelievable
@@chikannnn yes, she did a mistake, but it don’t mean she deserve all this hate. She is a human being, as we all. And human make mistakes, all of us. I mean really….people don’t learn from Sulli, Go Hara and more people we lost… And I apologise if I offended u, I didn’t mean that. I just feels bad for Giselle. Can't move on from that lipsync, but encouraged everyone to forgive the one who made a colourist remarks. They both appolohised and the other was just informed by a fan. The double standard ☠️☠️☠️
Girl grew up in the US. People know that the n-word is a slur. There is no excuses. "She doesn't know its this bad". Girl... yes she does. "Its just a word, it doesn't matter". If people are offended by it, then it does matter. "Saying a word doesn't justify her being kicked out of the group". Okay, whats your standard then? You can choose whom you are a fan of right? That means the opposite is also possible. The people that don't like her because of what she did are allowed to not like her.
you ate this and they be so crazy cus it’s like we always act like this in KPOP and they never learn? Now it’s getting repetitive and people are still tryna act like we’re the bad guys… literally people have been canceled for calling Asian idols out of their names racially and people would come crazy at them and defend their favs DOWNNNN but as soon as their favs use the same energy towards black people and we come at them it’s “we’re doing too much” or “it’s not that serious”… I be so amazed yo I swear

If Giselle haters are saying that she doesn't suit Korean beauty standard then you should know that Giselle suit Korea and beauty standard more than ning ning. Then how Giselle hater like ning ning
Giselle doesn't act japanese enough to appeal to the korean weeaboos. Traditional cute japanese idols like Sana or Tsuki get popularity from korean men because of this. She's half korean half japanese but she acts American so she causes a lot of confusion. She's pretty but not in a super korean beauty standard kind of way.
Pretty sure most people didn’t even know she was half Japanese and Korean honestly 🤷🏾♀️people probably think she acts more American because she is fluent in English and she’s on twitter and other platforms (probably not as much now)
Seeing all of these comments excusing her for saying the n-word is making me sick...no matter if she apologizes or not, at least recognize that she has said it. Sure, I think it's wrong that what SOME netizens did, and went to the extent to do (which they excused as 'holding her accountable'), but if you continue to 'stan' her and aespa, you should recognize the probematic history of Giselle. Sure, this is definetly not good for her mental health, as no matter what a person did or thinks they did. And for all the people saying "she's not educated", there is proof that she knows what the n-word is and the history behind it. I'm not sure about some of the other racial scandals, since I am black and don't know how to speak behalf of it. As for her apologies, they were mid at most. They didn't have any meaning behind them and were mostly just making excuses as to why she said it. Sure, the lengths that some netizens went was extreme, but this doesn't give you an excuse to just pretend like this never happened and continue supporting Giselle. I don't necessarily want Giselle kicked out, I just hope she will be able to genuinely learn from her mistakes and regain her confidence. If i missed or was misinformed of anything, please let me know, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the issue;
Giselle is an amazing and hardworking individual who deserves the basic respect as a human being. I hope that she doesn’t get overwhelmed by the criticism and keep going and being herself!! She is treasured and valued for just being herself. Please, Giselle if you read this know that you are loved and worthy of being loved. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. Keep going!! Hwaiting!! Gambatte!! Jiayou!
Although I do agree that she should've been careful, to me it does look like she got carried away. Not gaslighting how people should feel about , I understand how tiresome it is for black kpop fans to see such actions occuring. But based on this video of Giselle mouthing the n -slurr , I can't agree that she deserves to be called the Queen of racism. This video alone isn't proving that she had bad intentions.Pointing out someone's mistakes is okay, what's not okay is doing it in a hateful manner.
Im not trying to speak for every desi person, but you can ask literally anyone from my family or friends. Ive never seen that gesture being used in my home country nor have i ever done it. So, i dont really get why a lot of non desis especially got offended because even if it is part of others' culture, they can choose if they feel offended or not. Its not a non desis pkace to get offended by Giselles action. Say I got offended for Giselle lip syncing the N word... Im not black, and i actually cant be offended. I can be dissapointed and shocked, but taking offence usually applies to one or a group of ppl.
Sometimes ppl are waiting for a slip up to justify bashing on celebrities istg. I can’t speak for the black community but as a Japanese person, whose first language is not English much like Giselle, I can say that I didn’t even know the weight the n word carried until recently. Like ppl really forget that not everyone speaks English as their native language, maybe she did know, I can’t say but all I’m gonna point out is that many here in east Asia have no idea how offensive that word truly is.
It's really hard for them since they become most successful 4th generation kpop group. The expectation of the viewers are so High! + their names is already making noise in western countries So the pressure they experience is not joke!
Next time don't even produce song with N words if people get offended so easily. What a freak people getting sensitive when it's their own people who started it first.
Most of the hate she is getting is for no reason. She is ten times more talented than all those haters. They should think before posting anything on the internet. They also forget that a real person is behind it and this might affect her a lot.
I understand the N word thing, I feel like all the people trying to justify it will never understand how hurtful that word is. It wasn't directed at anyone, so I guess that changes things, but it is easy to avoid saying it. That word isn't in my vocabulary, and I'm black. It's easy to avoid saying or lipsyncing it. You just cannot justify using that word. On the other hand, her mouthing is doesn't allow you to cyberbully her. Giselle is my bias, along with Ningning, I hate seeing how much slander she gets because of it, she has already apologized, and it happened years ago. Of course it is your choice to forgive her or not, but don't cyberbully her, she may grown from it, and might understand now why it isn't ok to say it. I know a number of people who deserve this energy way more than her.
I think many Koreans don’t really are aware that N word is such a serious word that should not be sayin, majority of the Korean people are not even aware what are wrong and what are right I guess, no because of differences in norms or so on , also there’s much language barrier and so much other reasons for this. Please don’t forget even if she’s a idol or other idols too, they are a part of the Korean society, they are literally Koreas,no matter how much they are popular between foreigner fans , also they tend to avoid foreign fans I heard which I have no clue why. This is not an hate comment but more an awareness comments for people who’s into kpop and yeah, thank u
I saw comments in other posts saying Giselle knows english and should have known the meaning of the slur. But understanding english doesn't mean you were educated on history. I'm a black person and my whole life until two months ago I didn't know the word was a racial slur so what if I was white and I said it . I would just be hated for what I didn't know about. I think we're all misunderstanding the term “racism”. She didn't direct the word to anybody, she didn't discriminate or insult any race intentionally so there is no point in giving her all this hate. I've actually tried singing some songs that have the n word in it without saying the n word, that's shits hard. We're all trying to bring everyone together saying that we're all equal and races don't matter and that shit but you're hating on someone and probably damaging that person's mental health because of a word.
I am never as serious about celebrities to be sending any sort of hate but this time I won't even blame the people hating I also feel like the only thing Giselle adds to aespa's lineup is fluent English(?) anything else she can do everyone else in aespa can do so what's her speciality I mean I am no pro either so I wouldn't know

I hope she will be successful in Asia because people there don't really care about her "scandal" so she can live happily without unnecessary drama. I'm so happy that aespa is mostly popular in Asia, at least their Asian fans are always there for them, international fans are such a hypocrites, especially Twitter stans.
@@party12327 it's horrible but internation fans love to play victim card always and they don't need anything to cancel someone. so i'm glad that k-pop groups are mostly popular in asia, not to mention that china buy around 80 percent from total album sales so asian fans are more useful for an artist.
Mouthing N word aside, When I watch their fixed camera stage performances she stands out pretty strongly as the worst member. Which isn’t necessarily bad but she doesn’t quite bring anything else to the group which feels so bad to say 😭 also this is a 4 member group so you can’t blame everyone for noticing the obvious. I know India (Desi people) only got Wi-Fi in these recent years, but that dance move they complain about has been used so much making a problem now makes no sense unless it's because your not able to acces the internet before, because 2ne1 literally used that move in there debut video Dara even had a red dot on her forehead and she got praised for it, people these days are either snowflakes or are simply haters
Okay but like what else do you want her to do she already apologized, I know sum people still don't forgive her but y'all atleast stop hating so much on her. What would u do if that happened to u, We don't want another sulli situation. Atleast take down the hate a little, Giselle like other artist made mistakes so why are you all especially hating on her.
6:26 that isn’t a proper excuse in my eyes, your literally comparing giselle to children, she is not a child. this is her job. if she can’t handle hate without her dancing skills suffering then she’s not fit for an idol
*I'll just say now that this will be the only rant I have for K-pop, normally I do not care about the politics of the K-pop fandom nor what haters are saying lately about these people, but this I feel I have to get off my chest 'cause it's been bugging me, it will be very long*: I do not think EVERYONE hates her, but not everyone LIKEs Giselle, and I do think she's talented but still green in some ways. She is very exotic looking, an I do actually think she is the best visual out of all of them, no surprise here since she's Korean and Japanese, which both alone are pretty enough but put together, like the 2 half Korean and Japanese I know, are incredibly exotic looking. I am starting to like some of their choreography, and I also like some of their songs. I don't really think she cares. 1. People saying Giselle is not beautiful, she's still young, but she's got an exotic and beautiful look already and I imagine she'll only get more beautiful as she grows into her own style of dress and maybe a more mature makeup style. 2. Irene trained for 8 or 9 hard years, alongside Wendy, Joy, and Seulgi, then Yeri came in and trained with them, for another 2 years, alongside 3 other trainees, and Yeri was still pretty young when she made her debut. Giselle, on the other hand, hasn't had the same time that Irene and the rest of Red Velvet had to train. She took just ten months of full training, which is pretty much a record in k-pop. That's a lot less training than Red Velvet had. She's gotta get at least 2-3 more years under her belt as a singer and rapper before we can actually start criticizing her. Even then it should be left up to SME. 3. While winter is my least favorite, reason being I've seen it in subtle ways on some lives where she'll just cut the rest off when they're saying something, and I do wonder how they will handle that off-camera. However, she's still wildly talented. And I don't think Winter is actually autistic, I am high-functioning autistic and I had to train myself out of my compulsion for saying inappropriate or inopportune things, things that sometimes I wouldn't really understand being wrong to say. Like I didn't understand if someone was messing with me or being serious. I couldn't even really tell if a girl was laughing at me or laughing because she thought I was cute and funny. I had to train myself to even really talk to strangers and not be so out-of-control around them. Simply because I didn't, even now sometimes, don't know how to read people. Especially women. However, Winter has shown only one of those things accustomed to with high-functioning autistic people. Not a lot of them. 4. All Aespa needs is some growth, some more maturing, and they need to be more vocal to SME as to what they want to do with their stuff. 5. I think, if they were serious about getting rid of Giselle, they'd have to seriously consider who could replace her. She does the rapping, she does singing, and she does the dancing all just fine in studio. It's just live that she struggles. Not many would be good fits. She's got the rapoire with her team. She's got the favorability. And also, the others wouldn't allow that. I don't see Karina, who prides herself on being a good leader as young as she is, I'd say it's more SME not giving them some more time to develop fully (since they were only training for 2-3 years, Giselle 10 months). Thanks if you go this far, sorry if it was long but I felt I had to raise those points. Also, have a good day!
She gets hate because of the rumor that she only got in because LSM is dating her aunt. We don't even have confirmation that lady is her aunt. I don't even know where the proof is that LSM is dating her and the idea that she only got accepted because of her aunt is total conjecture. I mean LSM isn't the CEO, he has a lot of influence but do people really think SM is going to add some untalented girl because she is LSM's gf's niece? Its insane.

She has a shit ton of potential. Her looks, her vibe and aura, her exotic looks and background make for an interesting future of different possibilities.
She only trained for 10 months before SM pushed them out into the forefront of SME. I blame it on him for not fully developing her especially. She's a damn good rapper, for sure, but her singing and stage presence needs some more work and training. I feel that training will come with time.

The thing is if one more idol says the n word this year watch the fans say “ they didn’t know what the n word means “ it has been ten years since idols and Korean actors have been saying the n word, they should already know what the n word is by now.
Aren't those SM Rookies trainees who made the choices to leave SM? Why blame her?
Giselle only got one year of training. If you want to say she should've trained longer that's a fair criticism. If you want to say her dancing isnt good that's a fair criticism. Saying she only became a Aespa member because of nepotism or somehow tying her dancing to her mouthing the N word is just crossing the line into hate comment not real criticism.
Giselle's fan always have ways to defend her lmao but the thing is if she actually did well on her job she wouldnt even get hated that much.
😹
I love Giselle. Spread love, not hate
Giselle never "mocked" the culture.
say it louder for the people in the back
OMG really!!!! She appreciated our culture. Look what she did is exactly how we do it, everytime a song comes on. And the dance she did looked so good. I love her for stereotyping our cultural dance. It makes us feel validated. Love her.❤️❤️

Pretty sure most people didn’t even know she was half Japanese and Korean honestly 🤷🏾♀️people probably think she acts more American because she is fluent in English and she’s on twitter and other platforms (probably not as much now)
Seeing all of these comments excusing her for saying the n-word is making me sick...no matter if she apologizes or not, at least recognize that she has said it. Sure, I think it's wrong that what SOME netizens did, and went to the extent to do (which they excused as 'holding her accountable'), but if you continue to 'stan' her and aespa, you should recognize the probematic history of Giselle. Sure, this is definetly not good for her mental health, as no matter what a person did or thinks they did. And for all the people saying "she's not educated", there is proof that she knows what the n-word is and the history behind it. I'm not sure about some of the other racial scandals, since I am black and don't know how to speak behalf of it. As for her apologies, they were mid at most. They didn't have any meaning behind them and were mostly just making excuses as to why she said it. Sure, the lengths that some netizens went was extreme, but this doesn't give you an excuse to just pretend like this never happened and continue supporting Giselle. I don't necessarily want Giselle kicked out, I just hope she will be able to genuinely learn from her mistakes and regain her confidence. If i missed or was misinformed of anything, please let me know, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the issue;
Right
Giselle is an amazing and hardworking individual who deserves the basic respect as a human being.
I love Giselle
as you should
I love her more than everything.. She is a nice..
+ their names is already making noise in western countries
So the pressure they experience is not joke!
i hate that people are just creating some freaking reasons to hate on someone, i just cant bear these kind of people
So what ? This poor girl is getting so much hate for this ?
I will never understand how things became so twisted
Next time don't even produce song with N words if people get offended so easily. What a freak people getting sensitive when it's their own people who started it first.
Japanese love you Giselle🫶
Haters misunderstanding her and I'm sorry for haters that they don't know how she's attractive.
She's so kind person.
Japonese not taste even love another bad idol winter, not stage presence, lazy too, visual fraud in person, even in cameras is meh. cant rap

I find her boring, she's problematic and has nothing good to offer, better ignore her than give her hate 😌
First of all, she is my 2nd bias in Aespa, after Karina and what do you mean only non Korean member, I didn‘t know that Ningning is Korean?

I do not think EVERYONE hates her, but not everyone LIKEs Giselle, and I do think she's talented but still green in some ways.
I don't see Karina, who prides herself on being a good leader as young as she is,
I'd say it's more SME not giving them some more time to develop fully (since they were only training for 2-3 years, Giselle 10 months).
Thanks if you go this far, sorry if it was long but I felt I had to raise those points. Also, have a good day!
ppl are literally calling her a nepotism baby
She gets hate because of the rumor that she only got in because LSM is dating her aunt. We don't even have confirmation that lady is her aunt. I don't even know where the proof is that LSM is dating her and the idea that she only got accepted because of her aunt is total conjecture. I mean LSM isn't the CEO, he has a lot of influence but do people really think SM is going to add some untalented girl because she is LSM's gf's niece? Its insane.

Giselle does needs time. Synchronization for example. But she really has potential.
