Nice to meet new knitters ! I love Double Knitting, so Jenny's new attempt looks very interesting to me. Frank, your sweater is getting more and more striking. 👍👍👍
Frank, that’s a great stitch counting tip! Thx! Jenny, you are crazy to do illusion knitting as DOUBLEKNIT! Wonder Woman! 🏆 Hi to the rest of the zoomers. Great episode, as always!
I have been saving your podcast for Sunday morning watching; I look forward to it every week. The technique for magic loop knitting really is helping with my color work socks. Could you add the link to Cathy's web site? Thanks.
Thanks to now knowing you look for it on Sunday morning, I am now more motivated than ever to do the posting after the meeting on Saturday instead of procrastination until Sunday or Monday. I'm so happy to hear you are enjoying them.
Bring a friend week ! Re: counting stitches , I was taught that lesson when I started the Papillon pattern by MarinJaKnits. You are adding stitches down a center spine but also increasing at the edges , while doing all these hills and valleys using short rows at the same time. Of course this is an extreme example , pattern says to have 50 stitch markers set aside because many of them will relate to the short rows . 😵💫
It's hard to believe I've knitted all these years without figuring out to use removal markers to designate a specific number of stitches so you never have to count them again! Maybe it is such an obvious solution that it is rare to find someone actually teach it.
@@KnittingbyPhrancko :) Since I have not seen a video yet mentioning this. Just happened upon a pattern that uses this to the extreme. Perhaps this is a good one to add to your list of "teaching videos" category , although , some of the topics you have that are not specific to making customs sweaters, ( like short rows, provisional cast ons , magic loop technique, intarsia in the round, joining in new yarn , ladder back jacquard etc. , ) they are helpful when knitting them.
Congrats Cindy!!!! Us also ......Just hit 47 year's. Gone by way too fast . Great meeting everyone

Frank, do you have a TH-cam video on provisional cast on underarm?
He does !! th-cam.com/video/1vn_vFPvvbQ/w-d-xo.html
Pardon, looks like youtube will not allow me to link to his video
Actually you succeeded. Thanks for jumping in to help.
