    Great video! Glad to see you were able to validate revits calculations! If you haven’t already, you should post a project file containing the tags, settings and so forth to slow users to check their environment at home.

    Hey. Great video!
    Do you know how you can add and edit the Flow Calculation Method in Revit?

    • @bimitup
      @bimitup  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Tiago, that you find under Families > Piping Systems > Domestic Cold Water.
      You can use either "Tank Type" or "flush valve", but that's it. I think those are Hard-Coded into Revit.

      As far as pressure drop, I know you could develop your own "plug-in" using tools like Dynamo, for example if you wanted to use...say Hazen-Williams for sprinklers, etc. but that seems like A TON of work. Good luck 😎

      @@bimitup Thanks for repplying. I am from Portugal and we use Revit in projects all the time but all calculations are in Excell and others (non Bim softwares). So we were looking to put the calculations method into Revit as portuguese method is different and is bases in simultaneous coefficients.

    How do you make the connector with the different WSFUs get associated with the piping system?

    • @bimitup
      @bimitup  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Whatever WSFU value the connector has will be read by the domestic water system. Just make sure your pipe system has calculations activated.

      Look for "Hunter's curve charts". It is also in ASPE handbooks.
